Well, if Mojang are going to release big releases all the time then it is too much work. if they just do occasional small updates, i am fine with updating the texture pack. to be honest, i don't think much more is going to be added to minecraft, or at least not very frequently. So you are probably in luck.
I have used this texture pack in a map (which I decided not to release to the public due to the fact that it sucked) and I was hoping to get permission to update it manually to use in a new 1.2 map.
If it is okay to do so please tell me.
also if i get no reply does that mean it is okay?

Sure, feel free to update it yourself. These days i simply do not have the time to spend as much time as i used to on this.
Do you plan on continuing updating the texture pack after 1.2? if so, i would recommend starting a new 'Continuation Thread.'
If not, that is fine as well. Anyway, good luck with your new map!
It's a very good texture pack, I love the simplicity. Please don't stop working on it because I can't find any texture packs similar to this one. :sad.gif:
The OCD pack has a simplistic style...
Not that I'm trying to replace this. It'd be cool if it was supported still.
I have made a small update to the terrain.png file, because some minor things were irritating me. Changes include:
-now contains a jungle sapling, was missing before
-sandstone half slabs now literally look like half a sandstone block, constructions now look smoother
-diamond, gold and lapis blocks now fit the same theme as the new iron blocks
-changed the colour of the moss on mossy cobble and bricks to match the rest of the palette
-vines aren't so acidly bright anymore
-glowstone is slightly darker, and the edges have been simplified
-that glass window pane 'glue' stuff or whatever it is, is no longer a horrid blue, it is now grey. (Don't ask me why it is blue in default)
As for some more good news, myself and Sokaroka, the creator of the Mirror's Edge parkour map, are collaborating to create a new parkour map. I will not reveal much, apart from that it is a "jungle" theme, and is aimed at the more 'speed run elitist,' but will still be amateur friendly.
I also may be making some slight adjustments to this texture pack to fit the theme of the map, as this will be the recommended texture pack.
