looks good but i think you should have some more contrast between the 2 middle planks and make the darkest one a bit brighter. like the sandstone stuff (you may need to make the hieroglyphics one a bit less tho

Hmm good points about the wood. The sandstone ones are getting a color change to match the color of the sand more. I'll mess with the wood colors/brightness.
I updated the customizer with the new textures, and some updated ones as well. Let me know if it glitches or whatnot. The customizer also has the newer wood plank and sandstone textures that the next update will include. I tried to follow Bobi's suggestions for the woods.

Just one thing though. The texture for wood seems too smooth. If it were a little rough, it would look more like wood. But still, love this texture pack

I am not sure if this is my current installation but I can't seem to fix it. The texture pack rocks BUT the stone (just regular plain old stone) has a small fire icon, portal animation piece... it just is not working right. I have seen this kind of thing before on packs being out of date but usually on new blocks or older blocks that have changed....
Anyway... I am still going to tinker but I can confirm 1.2.4 on both the texture pack and the MC loader. Any ideas?

Any time you see the fire corner, it means something is wrong with how you used the HD patcher (or that it wasn't used at all). Try reinstalling the patcher (or Minecraft), which usually works, and also confirming you have the NEWEST MCPatcher, just in case.
Wow, you responded fast! I had forgotten to check MCPatcher and noticed that the "better grass" option wasn't checked, so, I checked it and all is well.
So, if anyone experiences weird things with the grass block, re-patch using the software you use for HD textures.
