Well I didn't notice any blatant errors with the downsized textures
I think they look pretty much exactly like the hand-downsized textures
and this is why 1.8 angers me
The red (and occasional green lines) show that my GPU isn't working any harder then it normally does but the white shows the CPU is being eaten alive for no apparent reason...
I'm having the same problems SOMETIMES. I just let it sit there for awhile and it improves. One thing I have noticed however: are you using any MODS? I used to run 1.7, SPC and the water shader without any problems. I can't use SPC and the water shader now together or it runs out of RAM. So something is up...just in case you're a MOD guy.
The only thing that angers me about 1.8 is the damn mandatory eating bullcrap. Total waste.

Grugsy said it was new chunk handling that causes it...which I don't find particularly hard to believe
and as far as running out of memory I highly doubt I'll ever run into a problem related to that that I won't be able to fix lol
-gives Minecraft half of my RAM without a second thought due to the OS having good resource management-
Cowed, check that side grass thing again. I have a feeling I still need to delete the top part of the side grass, but not sure. It should at least be better now.
Okay, gonna take a little break this week and actually PLAY the game a bit. At least now I have a good-enough 64x going over at the Customizer. If you guys notice anything weird, any odd textures or whatnot, please let me know. Positive critiques are highly encouraged and valued. Many of the comments given have provided excellent results. Enjoy!
Any chance of this being made compatible with the Connected Textures Mod? As much as I love that mod, I'm all but incapable of using any other texture pack than yours.
If you or anyone else would like to do compatible textures for other MODS, I will gladly put them up in my OP. But I use only two mods, More Paintings and the Water Shader, and have no plans to do any textures for other MODS. Sorry man.
Let me know if there's any texture(s) that you think are in most need of tweaking. I'm already doing some minor work on some (melon stalks, etc.)
The wool is way to basic for my liking. Is it a solid color? Anyway, The wood log
textures could use some more detail, along with the nether textures.
Normally, I'd be fine with the way everything is, but by the way the cobblestone,
and new leaves are looking, many of your overly "basic" textures can use a buff.
Maybe also the repeaters. I don't use them much, but it seems like you just pasted
the red thingamabobbers on the stone texture.
All, positive critique, Adriorn. This pack has really seen an improvement with
these new updates, so, seeing some more with the same new style, would be *ummmm*
delightful.
Realistico is really coming along as well! Nice Work!

hehe, I was thinking of re-doing the wool :smile.gif: I really like the way Soartex has done them, so I might do something along those lines. I'll check out the wood log, see what you mean. Which nether textures btw? All or certain ones? The soul sand is useless, so I really didn't care too much about it...you mean lightstone/nether stone?
As for repeaters, I didn't put too much effort into them since I never use them and people who do usually hide them, so figured, wtf. But I'll check it out.
I've finally returned to the world of Minecraftia. I'm glad you have kept this pack updated. Now I'm using either this default or doku. Anyways, I just thought I'd let you know that the Half Armor point texture is going the wrong way since armor got put on the left side. Still love this pack a bunch, and I can't wait for some updates to the textures.
I'm getting an error every time I try to download the texture pack on the adfly site. :/ I finally find a texture I like and the site gives me an error :sad.gif:

I'm having the same problem. When I get to Mediafire and click "Click here to start download from Mediafire..." it says that "The connection was reset".
Check again. A bunch of people were having that issue yesterday, but it seems to be fixed today. I tried it from different computers (yesterday as well) and it was working. No idea guys. Keep me updated.

And most importantly, let me know if the auto-downsizing they use is better/worse/as good as what I do.

Curse Premium+ you copied dirt over sidegrass rather than sidegrass over sidegrass
-glad I doublechecked with the GIMP-

Curse PremiumHonestly, the eating doesn't bother me simply because I love engineering large automatic farms; so now I have a justifiable reason to do so lol.
;D
