I failed to mention another problem though (ouch):
There's an off by 1 pixel error in the 64x pickaxes. The diamond pickaxe shows the rightmost pixels of iron pickaxe. The same for golden pickaxe which shows pixels of the diamond pickaxe. See screenshots below.
Looks better. The 64x texture may need some adjusting of the dots, though.
I hate you 64x bastards. Piece of crap always has bugs :tongue.gif: Don't worry, I'm going to spend this week going through all the 64x textures and creating a finalized version to make things easier for me (and you guys). I think I'm mostly done with all the major textures for now. I spent time going through them before this update and couldn't find much I wanted to change or wasn't happy with.
I noticed sandstone now has cobblestone's brick texture applied to it. I'm not sure what to think of that yet. Maybe also loose darker upper row then? But even then, personally, I still might like the smooth one more.
I did the change because I saw how it looked with other texture packs that gave it a bricked texture. It looks much better for building and whatnot. I might play with it, but I think I'm keeping the bricks.
Hey, wait, I think I see what you did there! The gravel, the sandstone: Have you, by any chance, been inspired by JohnSmith's 32x32 pack? I know you're a fan of that one (me too, by the way) :wink.gif:
Hehe yes and no actually. I love that damn pack, but for the gravel I just wanted to try melding soil/stone. The sandstone, kinda, but it was really after seeing it used in alot of packs, not just his (Dokucraft also has nice ones). The alternate flowers though, definately :smile.gif: I use JohnSmith when playing on the LAN, and mine when playing solo. I also have Soartex and LB's for occasional play, and Doku's RPG for sentimental reasons.
I am eagerly awaiting Realistico, but I did have a few questions about Basico. First, are you going to include an in game font that matches the Basico font in your forum signature? Second, is there anyway I can get you to do an alternate pumpkin? Maybe something like your glowstone, but in a bluer spectrum? I'm just not a fan of the jack-o-lantern in any texture pack. Misa changed it to a watermelon, which is different - but still the same. Finally, I see you support the more paintings mod, do you plan on adding support to other mods like random mobs?

Keep up the great work. I love your vision.
No on the font, and probably no on the pumpkin. I don't like the jack-o-lanterns either, which is why I just left it as a pumpkin; I think they look nice out in the fields. And no on other mods for now, unfortunately. Sorry chief, and thanks btw.
I like how it makes your house look!
I think i might use this as a recommended texture pack for my adventure map!
if thats ok with you(it's gonna take awhile, I've only just began lol)

Follow the instructions in the OP correctly and it will work. There are many tutorials throughout the forums, as well as problem guides that you can read, depending on your particular case. It might be a memory issue, it might be incorrect installation, it might be a bunch of things. Play around with it, follow the instructions, and search the forums for guides.
I'm bookmarking this, I somehow doubt I can use a 128bit pack as well as I'd like to but if I test that eventually then this actually looks worthwhile to use.
This is definitely one of the better simple (albeit hi-res) packs, only problems are I'm wearing the default armor and that my smoothstone castle looks like a desert

There is absolutely no sheer quantity of belief that can change the facts. [unless you're religious]

Yeah, I haven't gotten around to the armors yet...one of the least important things for me, sorry. But I will at some point. The stone is smooth on purpose :smile.gif:
Simple and very soft, as stated ! I really like the gentle looking sheep and pig and the superb choice of art. :smile.gif:
The one critique I have is that it's globally too dark in comparison to the sky's brightness, like a lot of packs (including mine, but it's getting better through time and tweaks).

Very true. I see it especially in the wood panels. But I tried going for something that would work not just in sunlight, but indoors or in the dark as well. And in the end, I went with the wood color more for aesthetic reasons than realistic ones. But I know exactly what you meant. And thanks for the comments chief.

I think I do too. I was trying to meld soil and stone to create gravel, but meh. I like it, but meh...

I cannot play Minecraft without using this texture pack anymore.
RealĂstico?

That would be great chief, sure :smile.gif:
Fixed the 64x texture errors (picks, hoes, cheese). Thanks Unresolved.
Enhanced the 64x pack. Let me know if any crap still remains.
This was only for the 64x pack btw, so you only need to re-download that one if you use it.
I have a screenshot but dont know how to post it
30k downloads = working texture pack.
Good luck, hope you find the answer you need.
