Hi, been playing Minecraft for some time. Got alpha (I know it's beta now, but I'm calling it alpha anyways), and now I know how to make my own Texture pack. Sadly, I cant access the default texture pack on my computer. And the texture packs I get are too detailed, or they aren't complete.

So I request a texture pack from you masters out there, however I don't really need a master at all. I just need a plain, simple texture pack so I can edit my own easier. Shouldn't take that long, could be up to 5 edits per minute.

So if you get a chance to make the texture pack, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

16, 32, 64, and 128x are all located here.

Well, for some reason, when I load run and type in %appdata%, go to .minecraft, all of that works. But I just can't get minecraft.jar to load. Maybe because it just says Minecraft... Oh well.

download winrar so you can see the contents inside minecraft.jar.

Well, almost all of them. Maybe not. Even if there are all the items, I still cant get the images to load.

I'd really like something that tells me what the item is, and not too advanced, just the over all color of it.

Can't find one, then make it please.

And ChurroV, No. Tried Winrar before, it doesn't quite fit my computer...

i don't know what it means for it to "not fit your computer." are you using something other than windows? what OS are you using? i'm sure there's an archiver that you can find that will work for your OS.

Well, Atm nothing else than windows. I just couldn't get WinRar to launch.

On Topic, Churro, do YOU make Texture packs?

i download texture packs that i mostly like and change the stuff that i don't like. there's not been a texture pack that i installed that i didn't change at least a little bit. i'll upload the one i'm using:

also, i don't think this game has any longevity at all if you can't mess with the game. you know, modding it, changing the textures. but to edit it...you need winrar.
