Far and away my favorite texture pack! Any ETA on 1.8 compatibility? Keep up the great work!
Edit: Also, do you have any intention of putting your texture pack on Minecraft Customizer (minecraftcustomizer.net)? Not sure if I'd change anything other than rain and maybe some clouds, but I figured I should ask. :smile.gif:
One issue I did have with it is on x-ray it was hard to tell what the ore blocks were if there was no light, especially at a distance. I would see a diamond shape, tunnel down to it and find it to be coal. So I made a modification to the pack that you may consider adding to your version.
I made the silhouette of similar looking blocks unique. Gravel is now a dotted line, dirt and grass have an extra pixel in the corners, and all the ores display the first letter of the ore, diamond is unchanged. The letters remain the original colors.

Here's a screenshot.
Yes, that can definitely help with mining. However, I don't think it fits the visual consistency of the pack. I'm picky like that :tongue.gif:.
P.S. I'm about halfway done with the update. You can get a temporary fix here (not everything is done yet, but it's compatible): http://db.tt/yeUQUJd

I can understand that and I wasn't especially trying to match the theme. I think the idea is still a sound one, however, that in darkness, the silhouettes of certain blocks are indistinguishable, and if they could be made distinct, it would vastly improve the effectiveness.
Thanks for the update. Waiting for 1.9 :smile.gif:
One comment- the texture for the new "cracked" stone brick is a bit difficult to distinguish from the plain stone brick in inventory and even when placed in the world if not lit up well. Could you make it have a bit more contrast?
I made a quick update to this for 1.9pr2. I just copy-pasted the default textures for missing items/blocks. I can post it for download if you don't have any objections.

Yeah... I'm not sure how else to make it though. I'll see if I can do something.

Sure, just PM me the link and I'll check it out. I should be able to get the official update out in not too long.
Looks like I, :cool.gif: just found a texture pack.
I'm very inactive on the forums, so find me through reddit (/u/888888Zombies) or twitter (@888888Zombies)
Supposed to be high contrast not simple.

Nice! I look forward to it! You're the best!

Thanks for the temp-update!
This is truly the best tp to use when mining.
I've been experimenting with other packs, but waiting for this one.

I'd be happy to try again if you like.
Thanks again.
Problem: The 1.9 pre-release just landed with a lot more work for you. :x
Yes... that could definitely be a problem. :tongue.gif:
