I meen, they aren't as epic as some texture packs, sorry to say it, a lot of that is just because you only use 16x16. But you were kinda creative, and you created such a variety, and it's so easy to download, without adf.ly (honestly if I were you i'd have it, you'd get a bit of money outa it, but you know, i'm cool with it this way XD) , and the direct download link... So my request is that you make a 32x32 texture pack or 2. Then once that and all ur other in-progress packs are done, you should make a 64x64pack... Don't have to i'd just love it if you did.

Making a video game mod for minecraft. Going great. The idea? blocks when clicked open up a minigame that rewards you with ores and such based on your ingame score. Almost finished with beta version, which features a very basic pong game.

Heh, glad you like my stuff. I'm not likely to go over 32x just because that's the highest that won't crash the game when it's loaded and sometimes I'm stuck with an unmodded version of Minecraft. My biggest enemy right now is simply finding time to work on things. A 32x pack has 4x as many pixels so it takes that much more time to do than a 16x one and with the number of tiles in the game now, even 16x takes a while. On top of that, I need to re-do some of the blocks I already have for my 32x one as they have an inconsistent art style. (Compare the furnace with the workbench for example)
Anyway, in other news, I have added the new 'tall grass' texture on all my released packs as per _Jeb's tweets on the matter. Haven't seen any comments yet regarding the hatches though. If anyone HAS seen what textures those are going to use and I just missed it, please let me know.

I just don't know how you find the time to keep updating them all, but I'm glad you do. It's like visiting a toy or game store here, though I'm old and greying, those places still make me feel good about life, as does this thread. It seems everyone feels the same way reading the comments. Just a very pleasant experience and in stark contrast to some threads. As has been said, I think it's because your packs are based on theme ideas and consequently so much more interesting to discover what you've some up with for all the blocks, rather than just a style change as we so often see. Nothing against those, but I much prefer a bit of imagination too! :wink.gif:
Hope you find more time in your busy schedule to add to your catalogue of goodies, Fool76.
Blimey, I notice you've already edited TallGrass in. That's efficiency for you! :biggrin.gif:
Well, you'd have to make it work with a patcher, but yeah. I understand, and 64 would be 16x as much work. I get that... What's your 32x pack?
Anywayz, that's cool, man, thanks for spending all this time.

Yeah, haha, I'm surprised at how dedicated you are to keeping all these packs up to date all the time
Takes some serious dedication to do that for 1 pack, much less for 6, especially when you don't get as much recognition and popularity as some of the other packs around here.

Thanks for the praise! One of the things I usually strive for is to be different and it sounds like I'm achieving that. :biggrin.gif:
As for managing all these, I'm not sure how I find the time either sometimes. Mostly I don't as can bee seen by the recent dry spell with no updates on any of my WIP packs. :/ I think it's knowing that there are people out there who do use these packs and like them that helps keep me going with this. :smile.gif:

Eh, I'm not in this for the fame. I'm in it to have fun making art and sharing that art. That and I use my own packs myself quite often so that helps make me want to update them as well. :wink.gif:

And this brings me to my real reason for posting again. I just added the hatch and map (I <3 _Jeb) which should make all my packs ready for 1.6. Only lingering concern I have is which direction the hatch art should face. I may need to rotate that once I see it in the game.

Looks like someone forgot to tell us about desert shrubs either that or they were added at the last moment.
In any case I'll have that problem fixed for these sometime later today.

Both shrubs and forest ferns have now been added making all the packs fully 1.6 compliant.
As is usual for me, I've gone outside the norm for a few of these.
All of the Mooncraft grass+shrubs are now moon rocks!
Don't ask me why there are seeds in the moon rocks, probably for the same reason you fish up cheese.
Desert shrubs in the Haunted pack are now also rocks. I am debating turning those into bleached skulls but that will have to wait for when I have more time.
Seamless and Simpletech both have small flowering cacti for their desert shrubs keeping in line with their brighter color schemes.
I'll put up some screenshots of some of the new features later but if someone else wants to take some of their own and post here, feel free. :smile.gif:

Are you going to update the 4x4 pack, or have you abandoned it? if you have abandoned it, I would be happy to update it and "take over" the project. Obviosly i will give you credit. I just LOVE IT, it's the best texture pack I have ever used and would hate to see it die.
I've finally won beating him over the head and he should be working on getting his packs back up-to date. Right now, Simpletech is the only one that works with 1.3.1. (Cause its my pack.) Mooncraft should be the next set that will be usuable, if not fully up to speed. (Something about the animals.) I'll do my best to see that Seamless and the 4x4 get updated after that.
I've been looking around for a 4x4 or smaller texture pack to see what my absolute maximum FPS would be. Is this one really 4x4, or just a 16x16 made to look like 4x4?

Why do assholes exist? Life would be boring without someone to yell at.
