So you're not planning on listing any of the makers in the first post?
That's pretty rude if you ask me.
I figured the credits in pack.txt would suffice, since it would be enough for me if someone were to use my textures in their own pack (Note to other texture pack authors: I hereby give you explicit permission to use any of my original textures, provided you credit me somewhere). However, it seems there are a number of people that feel differently about this, so I've included a list of texture packs used in the first post.
I felt compelled to download this and, although I probably will not use it as my primary texture pack, will almost certainly add it into my rotation. I made a mix for my own uses recently (but hadn't gotten around to updating it), and this is the closest I have ever seen anybody get to how I think things should look. The ores in particular are well-chosen -- what was their source (if they had one)?
I keep looking for things to criticize, but for once I have almost no complaints. There are a few things, however, that I will be changing in my personally-used version of this and I thought you might want to know them. Pumpkins always kinda bug me, and I like changing them to something else that can be used better for decoration and lighting; Agons Xzen provides a good example. Obsidian always seems to me like it should be very close to black; yours is much lighter than I am used to and kinda throws me off. Finally, workbenches always look better to me with the 9-grid; that saw really throws me off.
One final thing, in capital letters and bolded because I feel very strongly about it: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR *NOT* USING DOKU'S DIRT. Almost every 32x32 mix I have seen uses it and it is my least favorite part of any popular texture ever. Just wanted to get that off my chest. yeah, I know that last bit was really weird and not related to much of anything. Move along, people. Nothing to see here.

They're from John Smith's texture pack, with the stone changed to match the altered smooth stone texture.

I have considered going this route (particularly in the case of lightstone), but decided to stay reasonably close to the original functions of the blocks so that your world doesn't look crazy when someone with a different texture pack visits.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR *NOT* USING DOKU'S DIRT.
You're welcome. Never have been a fan of it myself, either.
I would love to see an update for this. Ive been updating my copy because a lot of people on the server I play on really liked the pack. But I would rather see how this gets updated.
I see in the credits you took something from DokuCraft, doku stated in the OP of DokuCraft that he doesn't want anybody using his textures until DokuCraft is completed.
Other than that, it looks cool!
Ah, hadn't seen that. I've uploaded a new version that uses John Smith's saplings in stead, but I like the DokuCraft ones better so I'll switch back once that's completed.
Damn, I had just updated it myself as far as I could do it myself!
Glad to see you're still updating it though, it's a great texture pack!
Btw, did you update the particles with a bobber and all those things that were added?
Thanks. I missed that the bobber had been added to the particles. Anything else I overlooked? If not, I'll release the update tomorrow.

Been looking forward to this pack being updated.

Too fast for a log error.
