Yea, that looks great, especially in house like formations!
I think that did the trick though, it's definitely easy to tell which is which now and it's still definitely very useful in builds (as you've just shown).
New sandstone looks good. I'd say that the border on the smooth sandstone could be toned down a bit though.
I did like the old clay-embedded-in-sand texture.
I feel like the frame of diamond, lapis, etc. should be a bit more 'shiny'. Also, just an idea, maybe you could add a symbol to each of these blocks similar to the iron and gold blocks? lapis - water, diamond - air, redstone - fire, emerald - plants, maybe?

I'll take a look at the borders and see if they can be muted a touch.
Clay in sand... Y'know, honestly I think I liked what I had before too. The thing that got to me was, after you break the clay apart and mash the 4 lumps back together, you ended up with a block of what looked like mostly sand. I know it's a tiny little thing, but... Well, call me picky. I'm not sure if there's a middle ground that could be reached. I'll play with it a bit more.
And the borders, yeah, could probably be a bit shinier. The symbols, however, are something I'm not gonna be able to do as well as I'd like at this resolution.
It was brought to my attention that the Horse jump bar was still gronked with the pack. It is less gronked now. Horses themselves are still the base textures, and it'll be a bit before they're added in. However, at least you can properly gauge your jumping now. <3
Been a while since I did a sweep of other packs, but your PM prompted me to visit, jehkoba.
Glad to see the progress continues apace and is all looking so good. All the knew work and the changes you've made have really improved things no end!
You've done very well to get back into the pack though...I find it hard enough after just a couple of weeks away, especially as Minecraft can suddenly change so drastically between updates these days.
As we share a 2010 start year, it's reassuring to know you're still going strong.
I've been stalking this thread since the 23rd or so page and I cannot wait for this to be finished updating for 1.6 or 1.7. You've really done good with the textures!

Curse PremiumThank goodness you didn't go for the bright orangy-red bands that hold the hay together too, that stuff makes my eyes bleed...

Curse PremiumReally, REALLY like the normal sandstone block though, it's striking the perfect balance of usable in builds/looking nice in natural situations!

Curse PremiumYou absolutely may, so long as I'm credited.

Thanks for the feedback, gang.
