All right, both versions at their most recent are now available for direct download, plus the customizer seems to have smoothed out a touch. If anyone's having problems, let me know and I'll try to flail helplessly to do something about it.

@TheGeekZeke303:
I use the Diamond pack myself. The only real reason being, I hate hovering over a texture that looks like a skull mask (or some other bone object) and having the game tell me it's made of diamonds.
I was hoping Mojang would implement tag editing (I did all the edits months ago, and still have the files) but alas, no dice. If you could edit the pop-up tags items have.... Well, who knows how crazy I'd get.
Also, the Diamond textures were loosely based of of Final Fantasy 2 (IV) armor, and I do so love that game.

Oh, so that's the difference I totally agree with you on that one.
Editing the tags would be nice. Sometimes there are items/blocks that represent something else. Seems weird at times.
Sweet, thanks
Any update on that golem?
I've taken the exact file used by the game and edited over top of it. Either there's something buggy about the customizer site and how it crops the golem file, or I'm on some really good drugs.
...
I'm pretty sure it's not the second one.
As soon as I've got it working, I'll let you guys know.
(Last I checked, you also can't upload Ocelots to the customizer. I think they're just needing to get up to date, then things will be much smoother. However, they also have lives of their own, so. Ya know. Patience. )

Psss..... pass the drugs here I mean, literally! I have large test Middle School American's gotta take. Torture D:
Somewhere along the way (just recently, perhaps) Minecraft started recognizing and properly running textures above [16x].
Now, I loves me some low-rez graphics, and they're easy as hell to whip out, but I feel I could do a better job at a *slightly* higher rez.
So, I'm gonna put it to you, the users, to help me decide what to do here. I can't start updating two resolutions of the same pack. I've got real life to enjoy as well, and I'm not caught up on the one just yet, let alone trying to maintain two (like a year ago with SteamCraft).
Pros/Cons of [16x]:
+ Easy on processing power, more users can access without fear.
+ Easy to make - you can only get so detailed with 16x16 pixels.
+ In line with the standard, original textures.
+ Already have nearly a full pack fleshed out.
- Not as detailed as I'd like, can't make my ideal look.
- Backburner plan was always to make a higher Def pack if I could.
Pros/Cons of [32x]:
+ My ideal resolution for spriting, I could make the pack look much better.
+ Smoother tools, more detailed blocks, more unique and personalized look.
+ Would force me to do EVERYTHING on my own, making the pack totally unique.
- Would need to bunker down and redo most of the pack before release.
- Higher Rez means some older computers would be laggy/not be able to run it.
Either way, I'm not making a decision any time soon, and I want to know what the community wants.
So, I'm gonna put up a vote. This vote will NOT decide cut-and-dry what I do, but will give me a much better idea of where people are at in terms of wants out of this pack.
So, let me hear it - [16x], or [32x]? The choice is yours.
I'd be interested in a 32x, but your example textures look a bit too…smooth.
Right now, I prefer the look of the 16x.
The examples I've posted are very much first draft, 15-minutes-at-midnight textures.
I'd be giving a lot more polish to final versions - if there are to be final versions.
Well I chose [16x] I have one of the worst computers in all the universe, and like to keep it simple. Though, I am interested in the 32x pack. I do play alot of SkyBlock and such, which are more or less lag free, so I think I could improvise. I have to admit, I do like the cobble. So I am with any decision your in. Gl, with any path you take
Some other ideas:
-Do more of a co-op 32x pack, if it's not exactly the Fantasy Pack and something you both could take part in together.
-Get someone to update the pack in 32x, as you regularly update in 16x, if not 32x
-Hand the pack down, for the people who truly love the pack could get the experience each update
-Hand the pack down, for the people who truly love the pack could get the experience each update
And that's another idea I've bantered about. When I finally discontinued SteamCraft, I had a few people come to me and ask to keep it going, provided they do the standard artist thing of crediting me as the original maker/major contributor.
IF I swap to a 32x format, I wouldn't be deleting every internet source of the 16x I could find. I'd be happy to have it carry on in someone else's hands, provided they were a good fit and had some spriting experience (even just personal/hobbyist).
I think for now, I'm going to play with 32x textures in my spare time, keep updating the 16x pack, and just post previews here and there.
Sounds great. If you ever do need more "umph" to play around with the 16x pack I would recommend adding animations. Saw this guy, here at http://www.twitch.tv/wormburn doing animations and it seemed pretty neat.
Not I gotta see SteamCraft, I feel like I'm missing out! (I know see the inspiration you got for this pack :))

Curse PremiumI've uploaded my WIP Diamond version file for download.
This is NOT complete, as it is missing:
Golems
Ocelots
Ender Dragons
Probably a couple other things
Feel free to use this until the customizer stabilizes, and I'll have the Dragon version up ASAP.
Sounds great
