Let the great texture-smoothening begin!

-Wool Blocks now differ in pattern from color to color.
-Stone made a bit more neutral in hue.
-Brambles turned into scraggly cacti.
-My VERY PWN pumpkin texture that looks pretty sweet!
[>>-i>] -Items tweaked very slightly. Again.
-Sandstone texture added! It looks all right!
-Stone Half-Blocks given a little more texture - more OOMPH.

Might be all for now... New screenshots? Eh.
Still more to come, including the entire mob collection, and maybe a GUI revamp or six.

As the title says:
Just a couple new screenies on the front page.

Just a snap of where things are going with the GUI.

I'm still not entirely happy with it, but it's closer than it was before... I dunno.

Thoughts?

I'd like the thing to have a slightly fantasy feel, without cramming dragons, axes, or glittering jewels down your throat. It's close. :tongue.gif:

Almost have the new GUI finished.
Just need to run around and test it a bit, then we should have yet another update.

I will add that I am a fan of the gridded inventory though.

The more I play sans grid, the more I'm starting to agree with you. It doesn't need to be as cut and dry as the original files, but a little separation can be nice.

Thanks, man. I'm kinda getting iffy on the dragon-bone thing myself, for right now. I can't change the name tags for anything yet, so I might turn it into more of a Final Fantasy 4 "Crystal Armor" set. Not decided just yet, but that's looking like the future.

Gold does seem to be kinda scarce, these days. As for the Lapis, it can kind of afford to be plentiful since it doesn't do a whole lot just yet. :tongue.gif:

Also, another good idea from you, kid. Maybe I just need to coloristically revamp the dragon bone stuff a bit.

These bad boys have no legs. They are pitch black, floating heads with a red gem in their... chest?
Their bodies are spectral, fading out as they get closer to the ground. These are, in fact, spectral ghost bombs.
