1. A fancy new mossy cobblestone,
2. Torches I scalped from my old Steamcraft project,
3. New bed sheet colours (more to come),
4. Fancy new glowstone blocks, for those of us who love lanterns, etc,
and 5. New ornate sandstone, as an option.
All but the sandstone are part of the new download.
Everything else is on My Customizer Page.
- New kind of Furnace. (not sure how I feel about it...)
- Crafting Benches now have two different side textures with different tools.
- Alternate Tool Bar.
- Other stuff, like Green Beds.
I'm hitting the same point myself these days, but... I have no idea what to do. :tongue.gif:
Honestly, I do kinda like the original Minecraft dirt more and more, but I don't want to just copy Mojang. My goal has always been to slowly but surely make everything about this pack my own, however long it took for the ideas to come.
Short story, I'm gonna need a good idea, but am open to the notion.
Mhmm... I do like the layers idea, a sort of dark/light sandwich thinger, but it can't all be homogenous. Lumps and little rocks will have to be included.
I know that you prefer minecraft to be clean and unmodded and that you are busy right now with the new dirt texture (which looks great), but could you consider adding randomob support? This would basically mean making that you make alt skins for mobs, and minecraft chooses a random skin for each mob that spawns, based on it's identifier (in other words it's client side, works with all servers and doesn't affect your save file.) (yes, I'm asking because randomobs is now included in the HD patcher. Which also now allows you to animate all blocks and items. you should check it out)

I'm still keeping my foot down on this. Sorry, man. There are a lot of good mods out there, I know. It's just that my work on this pack isn't going to support them. This is partly to do with workload and having a life conflicting, and partly because I don't use mods myself. I'm not really into putting content out that I'm not going to have a lot of contact with after the fact, since this is pack really is kinda for my own enjoyment. :tongue.gif:

A plan is forming.
