New half blocks. I like them. But I think I like the first preview image more... could you put them in the alternate .jar file? Thanks! :biggrin.gif:
The design on them almost makes them look Gaelic, which is pretty dang sweet. And they have torch holders to boot! Nice work Jehkoba.

After thinking long and hard, I have come to a decision: the new crafting bench doesn't work for me. First off, would you want the top to be a nice, flat surface to work with? The current indented version doesn't seem all that suitable. Also, it overall isn't as smooth and pleasing as the original. I agree with the concept of making it more obvious as to the purpose, but I feel that could be done by adding tools to the original.
Also, the new crafting bench just feels a bit more modern and industrial, and I'm not sure that is a good thing. (I also have the same complaint with the sides of the furnance/dispenser.)

That's better. Still not entirely convinced about the sides though. Maybe bring back the cloth band from the old bench?
Also, the bright border seems to only be on two sides instead of four. Looks somewhat weird.

I've homogenized the shading to make the top lighter, the sides mid-toned, and the bottom shadowed. Also lightened up the border on the cloth work top.

I played around with putting the band back onto the block's base, but it didn't look right. I dunno, I think it's pretty close where it is.

NOOOOOOOO.... I loved the old furnace front... It had such a nice fantasy feel. It was the other sides (not the top. not the front. the sides) that I hated. (Judging from the lack of exposed furnace side in your screenshots, you may not have been particularly fond of them either)

Okay, if you haven't figured out why it's not working yet, here's why. You're using HTML coding, in forum posts, well most forums I've been on anyway, you have to use phpBB code. Here is a link that I used to learn it, much easier than HTML (if that's even possible): http://www.phpbb.com/community/faq.php?mode=bbcode

Hmm... I don't think I like the new sides, and I'm not sure how they could be improved. The three whiter objects on the side, are those supposed to me protruding bricks, if so then maybe make them a little less contrasted with the rest of the side. Even then I'm not sure I'd like it. Sorry I can't be of much help.

I'm okay with them. Any work done on GUI yet?
