1.7 may be quite a while yet, so I would say release the updated texture pack by the end of next week if we have no word on 1.7 release date.
Also, as far as gravel goes it still would be nice to have a hint of color. In real like gravel isn't always purple, but it is never grayscale.
No, you're right. I haven't grayscaled it at all, it's just a lot more muted than the vibrant violet shade it was before. And as for update, I will of course keep my eyes peeled. If I've got more done by the weekend, maybe I'll just post it all then.
Wow, I never realised how AWESOME the biomes are in this pack! :biggrin.gif:
They have to be some of the most varied (and well suited) biomes I've ever seen.

SUCCESS! <3
Thanks, man. I'm glad they're working for ya. I tried to get that effect, and it's good to know the effort paid off.
-Weapons, Tools, and Armor have all been further touched up, and are lookin' mighty fine.
-New Glowstone Dust icon that falls half way between a powder and the redstone clone it had previously been using. I figure, there are enough pixels in the world for items to have their own icons. :tongue.gif:
-Touched up Apples and Golden Apples a bit more, making them look better rounded.
-Come to think of it, touched up a number of items to give them more shape.
-Made sure all the colors of new items and terrain blocks matched up.
-Checked for floating pixels... I think I got them all. *Crosses fingers*
Still to come before I post:
-Need to play with the GUI a bit. I wanna do something to it to make it stand out a bit more, without becoming obnoxious - metal bolt accents, a gilt border... Something.
-I want to choose one more piece of Art to add to the file. Right now I've doubled up on one of the big 4x4 pieces, which is silly. I'm sure I've got something decent kicking around somewhere that could fit that spot. :tongue.gif:
Aaaaand, I think that'll do it for this patch. I'll see if I can have it out by week's end.
-New Doors, both Wooden and Iron, with item icons to match. Better visibility with the wooden version, and a cooler design for iron. -New Mine Tracks, and powered/sensor versions to match. -Improved Wooden Planks with just a touch better shading. -New Hatch Cover to match both the new doors and planks. -New Break Animation! I don't really see it as being a big thing myself, but it's been requested enough to warrant attention. Lemme know what you guys think.
Not sure if I'm gonna get the GUI improved for this patch. I'm still drawing a blank as to what to do with it - I've seen a number of neat ideas, but so far none have really stuck out. Thoughts, anyone? Everything else is looking fantastic. I'm really excited to see what you guys think of all the little tweaks and changes. Most of them aren't really in your face, but some are obviously improvements.
Almost there - just gonna play with it a bit and see if anything else stands out as needing to change.
Haven't played in a while and decided to pick it up again. Anyway, loaded your texture pack and it's looking about a thousand times better than I recall it looking. And that's amazing considering I really loved it before. Can't really think of anything I hate or just don't like about it right now. Looking forward to GUI update. Keep up the good work.

That means a lot, man. :smile.gif:
Thank you. I'm looking forward to the GUI newness myself, soon as I figure out what I'm doing.
I love this texture pack so far but the only thing I would like to see changed is the redstone repeater I can't really see which direction its pointing when I place it. All in all this texture pack is amazing keep up the good work!

Curse PremiumJust a shot of the new doors in action.
It took far too long to get all the sides to line up in a way that looked good. :tongue.gif:

Lemme know how you like it, peeps.
Just so you know, as of 1.6 you can leave the base grey in the breaking animation transparent, making it look marginally better.
