The golden sword looks really cool thanks very much
I'm glad you like it.
It looks a lot like the old golden sword, truth be told (old as in from a couple months ago) but I think this version turned out a bit better. Might tweak it later on, but no rush.
So... I'm shockingly excited about this wolf pack idea. I envision a large keep on SMP, with a special kennel just for the pupsters. Squads of teammates battling an opposing force, with epic wolf-on-wolf action across the battlefield.
This is fantastic. This is what Minecraft needs more of - special elements to add on to the extensive mine-and-place systems currently going. This is a step in the right direction, and I am simply atwitter with anticipation.
Wait...did we forget about sandstone? The cannonball sandstone in my building doesn't look good anymore, now that the cannonball cobblestone is no more.
As far as what the new sandstone should look like, I'm thinking maybe...color the smooth stone like the sand and add cracks?

Could you make the wooden sword a bit thicker and remove the knob on the handle to make it look more like a club and less like a baseball bat? Either that or add a baseball to the creeper so that I can practice my batting accuracy.

I could make the wooden sword thicker, but I actually meant it to kinda look like a baseball bat/club. The idea of your first weapon being a carved sword (Which you would need a better weapon to carve with) doesn't make much sense, but a big-ass piece of wood? That's ok. I'll play with it a bit, though. And no creeper baseball, awesome as that may be. :tongue.gif:

jehkoba, can you just put the dragon bone version up as a separate download? I am in love with the dragon bone idea, but getting tired of having to rename files and making sure that the terrain_bone.png is completely up-to-date every time you update the pack. (Seriously though, I love your pack and the dragon bone idea so much that I am changing the en_US.lang file in the minecraft.jar to say dragon bone instead of diamond)

1) I just got back from a week in Japan last night, have been dying to play minecraft.
2) This morning, I download the update to your pack and start rearranging and fixing files so I can use your texture with the dragon bones.
3) By the time I am done, my parents are on me about doing homework and I have yet to play minecraft.

I'll go make a mirror download right now. I'm also done updating the sandstone texture, and have an alternate wool blocks file for those of you who don't like the images on the blocks.

Hope you guys like it. :biggrin.gif: I'm gonna be working on another project mainly for the next little bit - an actual full game that I get to do the art for! I'll still keep an eye on this thread, and address any major things that need changing or attention. Also, if/when the next big update happens, I'll be sure to add to this pack. I'm liking the darker pelt. Decided to keep the same scheme for the faces:

( ^ . ^ ) = Tamed
( * . * ) = Angry
Gonna work on a couple other things before doing the update, but it's coming.
