I keep coming back to this texturepack. and steamcraft.. you are a great artist !!
Aww, you big flirt. But really, thank you. I'm glad you like them so much. :biggrin.gif:
Do lemme know if you've got any ideas for improvement.
I'm not a great fan of your wool. I think it looks bad when I build large floors or buildings, But it's not a big deal.
To be fair, I didn't make the wool to be used as a building block like stone or wood. It's designed as an accenting block - something to mark paths or do mosaic image work, not to build entire bases out of. :tongue.gif:
Still, thank you for the feedback. Lemme know if you got anything else.
I just figured out that I had to clean my .jar, but I couldn't load any of the games that I had mods in, even after sticking my old .jar, with mods, in. Lame. I'll still use it though, 'cause there's one un-modded game that I like.
maybe you should make the wooden planks more ''woodly''. they now have a slightly orange color.?
That's actually something I moved away from - the typical "woodly" colour. I'm an artist and a painter by semi-trade, and I like to make my palette fairly rich. The fact that the wood, which is one of my most frequently used blocks, isn't the typical muted dry wood tone is one of the things I like best about this pack o'mine.

Sorry about the unloadable games, but I'm glad the pack's working.

I've realized for a couple weeks now that my old screen shots are both lame and outdated. I've got my demo worlds well established now, and would love to show off some of what I think this pack is best suited for, complete with the better lighting and nice camera work.
I'll try to have it all vamped and revamped before much longer. Also, thank you to everyone who's been giving feedback and forcing me to look at different blocks and textures. I'm glad to see there's still interest in this li'l project of mine.
Heh. "Project of mine". Get it?
Because I made this for... Yeah, it wasn't funny.

I have to say, I am not in love with the Jack o Lantern face. I think that I would prefer an actual face of some sort.
EDIT: Is it just me, or are creeper.png and creeper2.png the exact same?
On the topic of the Jack-O-Lantern, I get where you're coming from. I had originally changed the style from a face (which is fairly Hallowe'en exclusive) to the flame image to make it a bit more multi-use. I'd be totally happy to do something else, but I'd like to keep away from the typical Jack-O-Lantern grin, if at all possible. Thoughts?
Also, I hadn't actually checked the creeper files recently. I might have just made a duplicate by accident, or it could have been a tiny adjustment that got saved over. Either way, I'll maybe just take it out. :tongue.gif:

Hmm... well, at least take out the carved corners around the flame.
YES I got it working, ah it feels good to be back to this texture, awesome I love it :biggrin.gif:
How did you get it working? The same thing's happening to me >.<
Well it took me ages to get it working and i had to redownload minecraft so many time but if you redownload minecraft so it's all default go into texture packs and then select open texturepack folder the close down minecraft and then just copy and paste the texture pack file it seemed to work for me eventually
Yikes. I'm sorry you had a crap time with it... But glad it worked out in the end?
I have downloaded the pack, unzipped its contents and placed them in the texture pack folder, however they will not load. have I placed them in the wrong folder or is not compatible with version 1.3_01? Any help and info would be greatly appreciated!

Aha, I think the problem is in the unzipping. DO NOT unzip the pack. Put the whole zip file in the texture packs folder and it should run perfectly.
Lemme know if it works, and if so, what you think.
It's been a while since I was able to access the internet (my internet went out for a few days). Anyway, I like the beds and the diamond equipment, at least until it is possible to make the dragon bone work. However IMO the sun is a little bit too big. It's not a huge thing but it is something that I did notice.
So, I've gone in and touched up a number of item sprites, including: Iron Armor, Gold Sword, Gold Pick, Gold Axe, Gold Shovel, Gold Hoe, Wooden Door, and maybe a couple others.
ALSO touched up the terrain file, improving on: Grey Wool, Sugar Cane, Jack-O-Lanterns, and maybe a couple others as well.
So, I've finally gotten off my butt and done a world tour with all the new improvements, both on my end and Mojang's. The results are as you see on the main page, showcasing what I hope to be a lovely assortment of nature scenes and as few inspirational project pics as possible. Because I'm weird like that.
GO WATCH THE NEW VIDEO. I love the bath house this man built, and he used my wool blocks EXACTLY how I hoped people would. Plus, it's just a really cool structure. Big props to him and his construct.

Scratch my last statement about the sun, it looks good. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, man. I plan to.

This texture pack is sweeeet!! The armor, glass, inventory, and everything looks really nice and detailed! Nice Job! The beds are nice too.
I'm really glad you like it.
Play around for a bit and come back with suggestions if any pop up.
Cheers to all you guys, and thanks for the support.
