-Leather now looks more roughly-crafted.
-Iron is pretty much the same.
-Gold is highly ornate, and bejeweled! Gaze in wonder!
-Dragon Bone armor fully implemented! Skull helmets! Ribcage Breastplates! Hurray!
Plenty more still to come, and again, suggestions!
I have so much over-the-top udder appreciation for artists who make new armor and mob skins. :biggrin.gif:
Thank you so much! It's, like, the hardest thing ever. (I do a lot of terrain, some icons, but armor is RIDICULOUSsssss !
[EDIT} Hi, PS: I'm going to... try... to turn your dragonbone armor back into diamond =\ Sorry, my favorite color is lime green mixed with sea blue mixed with awesome. Which is what diamonds look like see?
The texture's are a little bit too busy for my taste (I prefer my textures smoother, more natural-looking, less pixel-arty) and GUI looks a bit messy with those (otherwise great) gears. But still - this is a very nice pack. Really nice cobblestone and items. Also - nice char. And I totally dig your dragon bone idea :-) And cacti replacement. Good job :-)
The GUI does need a total overhaul. The gears and such are leftovers from the SteamCraft pack, and need to be next on the list of fixes.
Also, I understand what you mean about pixel-y packs. I'm gonna try and smooth everything out a bit once it's all set in place - fewer sharp contrast changes, except where they make sense.

Hehe, thank you. Glad you like the armor, and by all means, play around with it.
Link me a pic if you get it looking the way you want it to. : )
Like your SteamCraft pack, this one looks nice so far too. I only say so far due to the holdovers from the other pack, but I'm sure those will change. Keep up the good work and I will be using this pack too.
This is another fine pack, Jehkoba. Love the cobblestone texture and your other ideas. Will download this when complete! You're definately keeping busy, mate!

Actually, I'm probably going to keep this one more-or-less as is with the terrain file. It feels like a more vibrant fantasy world pack than a steampunk one.
If anything, I'll be modifying the SteamCraft pack to be a bit more gothic/brassy/Victorian. :smile.gif:

Thanks, man. Another update coming in just a few minutes...
And BEHOLD! I promised update, and update ye shall have.
(Though for some reason, all of my white pixels are showing up black in these pictures... :sad.gif:
They aren't like that in game. Promise.)
Iron armor, and a bit of the new GUI.
Inventory Screen!
Crafting!
Furnace/Oven/Smelting!
And storage!
Plus, little tweaks all round to navigation images, the "Mojang" logo-filler, and the sun/moon files.

That would look pretty cool, but I like the way the terrain works with both of these packs too. :smile.gif:
I like the changes you've made :biggrin.gif:
I'm downloading it so I can attempt to make any suggestions.
Also, I think some people might have trouble with your GUIs, as there is no delineation between the inventory spaces. Some people might be able to tell the difference between one box and the other, but other won't
I'd thought about that a little... What I might do is just copy/paste the four ++'s I've got in the crafting panel to the rest of the item-holding spaces. It'll be subtle enough to keep it looking clean and neat while still offering just enough visual cue to show the spaces available.

Fair enough.
If I do end up changing the steampunk pack at all, it'll be minor tweaks where terrain is concerned, because quite frankly, I like it too. :tongue.gif:

Touched up all the armor files!

Yeah, no. Something better be done 'bout that.
Like... Now.
Sorted.
Thank you, good sir. :smile.gif:
I appreciate the appreciation.

I'll get it all worked out as soon as I can. Lemme know if you have any suggestions.
Half the forum is unaware of the bookmark button, I swear.
Sleekcraft! Check it out!

However, mod isn't an acronym, it's short for modification. It should say mod, not MOD.
