I have been kicking around the idea of doing a hi-res version, but I just don't have the time right now to dedicate to it.

I didnt realize before but the clay looks like pink sand, sand looks epic but clay, that may need its own texture, clay is not ACTUALLY pink sand.

EDIT: Love the leaves (they look better in fast mode rather than fancy) and the stone slab makes more sense now.

I am glad that you enjoy the new textures. I openly admit that the clay is a product of pure laziness. I will work on it :smile.gif:

I love this texture pack, but I have 2 problems with it. First is the single door because the half keyhole thing just makes it look weird. The other thing is the lack of dividing lines in the inventory, chest, and crafting table. Other than that its great though!

I was not even interested in putting on a texture pack until I saw this. Now I get massive waves of nostalgic glee every time I look at my suddenly much more foreboding tower. Thanks for making/updating this!

Kevin6495 - I agree the single door version looks strange being that it is designed to be used as double doors. As I say, I originally started doing this pack to make a Zelda themed pack to fit my taste and since my worlds are designed around my pack everything fits nicely. If something uses a single door then I use a metal door and if it is a double door then I use the wood. I could do something different for the wood door but it is so hard to make a door that looks great both ways. That is why I include alternate textures in the .png files for those who wish to have something different.
But, just in case you aren't Photoshop savy I have created a pack just for you with an alternate wood door :smile.gif:

merrik_stryfe - I am so glad you enjoy my texture pack! Every time I walk through my world it makes me feel like I am really playing a new LoZ game and that is why I do this texture pack! I love that there are so many LoZ fans like me who can appreciate the work I am doing :smile.gif:

I may be doing a 32x32 sometime in the near future, I just need to dedicate the time to it (which I don't have) and work on my other projects as well. Also after you kill Goht in Snowhead Temple be sure to go back to the Great Fairy and get your doubled magic meter and then go back to day one, kill Goht again and do the Goron race to get the 2nd bottle that has the gold dust in it to make your new swords :smile.gif:

On a side note I added to the original post an alternate download for the version with a Wooden Door that works better for those who prefer single doors!

in the original items picture in minecrafts stock one theres nothing there, and whats the rupee?

The stuff at the bottom is extra, you could use them how you want, you should read other posts first, this question has been answered before.....

EDIT: The rupee is the diamond gem.

Fills with juicy goodness? I figured having the other fish sprite from the game was better then just recoloring the same one. Also, fills with juicy goodness... :smile.gif:

I really wanted to do themes based on games that I enjoyed playing growing up so these projects are very special to me. I will add the pages for them on the forum and on Planet Minecraft soon. I just want to at least have a decent amount done first before releasing anything to the public.

I hope to have these packs rolled out soon, I just made a page on Planet Minecraft for the Illusion of Gaia pack. There is only a small group of terrain done so far but more to come very soon as I am working diligently on it!

If i were to change the alts around myself... would it be a simple copy paste here and there? or is there something else? and the alt sun and moon2? how do i have those as the ones shown instead of the red and blue sun image? (texture noob btw yours was the first i actually keep up as standard :smile.gif: )

Well for the sun and moon you would simply name the files you want to use sun or moon with the .png file format. Once you do that the game will use those files as the sun and moon! Just rename the existing ones something like sun2 or moon2 instead of overwriting them just in case you want to use them again. As far as say the terrain or items .png files, if you have an image editor such as photoshop you can replace an existing sprite with any of the alternates I place at the bottom of the sprite sheets. Simply Cut and paste the sprites around but the location of each sprite is key to their function. So if you replace something like the wood pickaxe with the wood Mole Mitt then you have to make sure you put the Mole Mitt in the exact position of the item you are replacing! Also make sure to save the file as a .png or it won't work.
