Well that's nice. He can release an updated 4-color pack (4 colors? what? do you mean 15?) if he wants, but I doubt anyone is going to update theirs to match his vision. I think the main concern is making things that "look good."
Whenever I select this texture pack and press done, my game gets a black screen. Maybe this is a common problem but I didn't see any other posts. Could have just missed it. But if anyone has any solutions I'd appreciate it greatly.
Ok, like a few people before me, I am also getting nothing...It also causes my internet to freeze...And because I switched to the pack (which made it freeze), I can not delete the rar. file...Is there a way to get around this? (without having to delete all the files for the game...and sorry to go away from the subject of the pack, its great when in use, its just a problem i cant get around and is making minecraft impossible to play)

Just to say, the name should be Forte...But I messed it up...yea...
Why couldnt the alligator get to the top of the hill?.....Because he was wearing roller-skates!
I will take a look into the issues as much as possible, I am not sure how the texture pack would be causing such drastic issues, this is the first I have heard of a problem arising, I will look though. Also Nero is most likely referring to the fact that in LttP all the tiles only used 4 colors max each not an overall pallet of 4 colors but each item only using 4. THis would have been a great way to do it and I personally would enjoy it but the people on my server wanted a bit more style variety while trying to hold true to the overall look of the Legend of Zelda series as a whole. I will see what I can do!
[EDIT = I think I might go with the more OoT Skulltula look for the spider, thanks Jedi! Also I might be tweaking a few items and terrain files. The iron, diamond, lapis, and gold blocks have always bothered me and need to be better. I also darkened the edge around Iron ore so it was more visible from a distance. Also not sure if anyone noticed but now you can grow the pumpkins that are replacing wheat, it looks neat for the different stages. I am looking at ideas for the squid texture, will be playing plenty of Legend of Zelda games for inspiration!]
[EDIT= I changed the spider to Skulltula (still not done though)Also I just changed Redstone Torches! They are now a floor lamp I saw while playing Link to the Past!]
That is a great sprite collection, I will have fun picking through them :smile.gif: Sorry there hasn't been an update this past day or so, my wife is sick and it has been up to me to take care of Zelda and I have not slept in 2 days. I love my daughter but she never sleeps when I need her to!
The tiles you're talking about can't really be accessed. They used to be crops, but Alyx moved them down there when he replaced them with the newer pumpkin crops. Same with the redstone torches. If you want, you can just move them back up to the proper tiles and your crops will look like 'em again. Takes about two seconds.
My terrain.png uses a variation of that "grass," or whatever it's called, albeit with a pinkish final form.
Qwo is correct, I move items I replace down into limbo as I call it. If you preferred the bush version and do not have the means to change it, just let me know and I would be more than happy to make you a personalized version of the pack! Most of you aren't aware of it but there is actually many different versions of this pack used by my friends all with varying items and styles to suit their individual tastes :smile.gif:
[EDIT = Also I won't be doing any work on this the next 2 days since I will be taking my family up north to visit friends for their birthday but I will see you all Sunday night!]
I feel a bit bad for being so ADD, so I'm going to upload my item sheet so far as a teaser. I have finished the swords and started on the pickaxes. I'm very open to suggestions or ideas, but I won't be breaking from this style as I believe it the best mix of how the default minecraft items look, and how the zelda ones do.
Since Alyxandor is sticking a specific style here's nearly "every" zelda item ever done in Minish cap style, which fits the lttp textures quite well.
Protip, look at how the items look when you are in third person... :wink.gif:
That was an amazing picture. I loved it, I am so getting it when I get home.

Yep thats the one I was referring to.
Second, like cooly, I think you need to do something else for the bowl, a bottle and a healing potion could be a solution.
