- Lighter gray on the furnace, piston and dispenser.
- Lighter outline on the furnace, piston and dispenser.
- Wild grass is now a pixel taller.
- Lilly pad is now one pixel longer to even it out.
- Cauldron texture has been fixed.
- The circle on the enchantment table is now smaller to look nicer.
Guys, would you like it if the ores looked like this?
looks like you just took the leaves texture from your texturepack and just recolor them.
i've been using this pack ever since 1.3 and i'm loving it, i love how the ores are the same, so no, i do not like it.
on the side note, mind making it darker like it was before the prereleases?
About the cobble. It looks nice, but doesn't really look like cobble at the moment. It looks more like carved stone. Maybe take the original texture and take the two colors that stand out the most. I have some textures where I did this, and I can give them to you if you don't get what I mean. And if you change the cobble, I think you need to change the mossy and the sandstone along with it.
its funny how i started to build everything out of cobblestone cause it looks like grey colored bricks, so whenever my friend online sees it he says its ugly, but i know its cool in this texturepack
I do like the new ore textures, but perhaps they could be a bit less... hmm, intense? I understand where you're going with them but I think something with a bit more of the stone showing is in order.
The cobblestone texture is just fine as it is, I think.
As I mentioned before some pages back I do really quite like this texture pack and I usually hold off on updates while I wait for it. For the most part I like all the textures, with only the netherrack texture standing out. Until recently this hadn't really been an issue - I didn't spend much time in the nether anyway. But now that we have nether fortresses, I feel there's a small problem. Since nether brick and netherrack share the same cobblestone-y pattern, it's kind of ugly when your screen is covered in nothing but that pattern.
It's not terrible per se, but I think it could be a bit better.
Now, since I didn't want to come in here and complain without offering a suggestion, I thought I'd play around with the textures a bit myself to see what I could do. At first I tried just changing nether brick to use the stone brick pattern, but it still looked a bit bad (and I'm terrible at colours too). After a couple experiments what I settled on was turning netherrack into a "plain" texture and having nether brick use the stone brick pattern.

Retired StaffI'm not sure. Since I have a pretty decent computer I can't test it.

Also, in my opinion, you should make the ores more funky, you know, to give them that unique feel... Also, Creepers could have red eyes =3
This texture is the correct texture pack for me: Simple, smooth, and calm :laugh.gif:

Retired StaffI think there were a few before this one but this one became more popular.

Retired StaffGreat idea. I'll mess around with the textures for a bit and see what I can come up with.

Retired StaffEdit: Scratch that. I came up with one.
Looks epic! This what I meant by a new 'funky' look :biggrin.gif:
EDIT: I'd use the ores that are currently in the pack.
He got caught, don't worry about it.
