Actually, I was gonna do just that as well. Just a touch, mind, but a little more goth.

As stated in my Fantasy Pack thread...

It occurs to me that, while my packs may be entirely functional, somewhat innovative, and mostly my own pixels, I could do a better job with them. Themes could be more defined, items, mobs and blocks could all use a touch-up for the sake of clarity, contrast, and overall Jehkoba-ness. I could stand to make them a bit more my own, and put a bit more love into every aspect, instead of just the most common ones.

THEREFORE: I will be working on a number of quality updates to the packs you already know and love. Making sure items are well defined and use their space to the utmost, blocks flow as smoothly into each other as possible, and that the themes I'm exploring stay true to their namesakes.

Now lets move towards making them look a bit more finished.

The steamcraft thing ain't just some hipster pursuit. My friends and I have been big into the whole nouveau semi-fantasy thing for a while now, and this is an expression of that. A number of the ideas I've got in this pack aren't in any of the others done by my fellow modders, and I quite like having it as another way to express the game.

As for being spread thin, no fear of that, my friend. I've got more free time than I know what to rightly do with at the moment, and multiple projects help to keep me interested in each one more so than plugging away at a single thing. What's more, doing THIS pack is what inspired me to start the Fantasy one in the first place, and I plan to get them both up to a respectable level over the next while.

And the spider's eyes are staying yellow, gosh darn it.

How about I post a red-eyed spider file tonight, and you can swap it out at your discretion with the yellow-eyed bugger. Sound like a fair compromise?

- Made skeletons less golden and gaudy.
- Touched up all the tools, better fitting them to their 16x16 spaces and updating a couple.
- Tweaks to the terrain file, including an actual Sandstone texture, shaded treasure chests, different gold blocks (Which look SHOCKINGLY like sideways Iron blocks...), and probably a couple other little things.
