Just tried it out. Very nice work on the gui and items. Makes my branch mine seem much homier. Good job!

I am a fool.

Can I use that greenstone idea for my texture pack?
You absolutely can. My only goal with greenstone specifically was to make it NOT diamond. Hell, turn your ultimate armor set into marshmallows. Whatever works. :smile.gif:

That reminds me, I haven't worked on my texture pack in a few days, I should get back to working on it and maybe I can release it next week-ish
Great texture pack, love the colors, love the mobs, very creative.
Do it! Submit it to the contest, too!
And thanks for the compliments. Glad you like it. :smile.gif:
This pack is kinda the little kiddy version of Glimmar's as all the blocks look too much like animal crafting. No offence but please don't try and take blocks from Glimmar's because they'll look too detailed to work. Nice job, though not that steampunky, pretty much just a mechanic's minecraft, what with the wrench and clockwork for the invent menu.
Again, no offence...

seems to bright for steam punk, a shade darker methinks
Fair... Though I'm of the mind that steampunk doesn't necessarily have to mean dark.
I know what you mean, and I've seen a lot of deeper colours in steampunk stuff, but there's also the more cartoony side, which I'ma lump this in too.
I'm really, really liking this pack, especially the mobs! It has a nice warm SNES RPG feel to it. Also might I suggest scaling back the size of the sun and moon?

Just enjoying midnight in the garden of shoes and evil

Cheers, man. I'm really glad you're enjoying it. The SNES feel is what I was hoping for, too.
As for the sun and moon, I think you're probably right. I'll do a couple more quick edits when I get home - maybe scan through the other files while I'm at it. :smile.gif:

But you know, I'm sitting here and playing with sizes, and if I take the resolution down any, the clock detailing gets kinda lost. Even at 48x48, the moon starts to look a lot like a scratchy toenail. :sad.gif:
I'll keep them as they are for now, and work on other stuff.
HEY!!! you should make trees copper and make sticks metal pipes
you know, I'd actually considered that... But I don't want the world to be entirely devoid of foliage. We've got cows made of sheet metal - I figure that's about enough.
