So, I'm thinking of doing something similar to the Fantasy Pack ideas for wool, only applying them to a more gunmetal/iron box/embossing idea for this one. A crate with studs all along the edges, and various symbols embossed on the sides - flame, radiation, creeper, etc. Then, to have the logos be the colour of the "Wool block" and the rest to be a sort of accenting metal hue.
Yes/no?
Yeah that seems like a good idea
I whole heartedly agree, but what about Blue itself? Wouldn't a blue border kinda blend in?
Now that I reread his idea I love it even more that a great way to work with the wool blocks and pretty unique.
And I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean each wool block should have blue in it?

I'm not sure what you mean about a "blue border blending in"...? The blocks would look like metal crates, for the most part (A few differences here and there). On each box/crate, there would be a logo in the color of whatever dye was used to make the block.
I.E. A junk block (plain wool) has red dye added to it. It becomes "red junk" (red wool block), that looks like an iron bolted box with a red flame logo on each side. The orange block would be some sort of "radioactive" block, yellow could be a "caution" marker, etc.
Blue wouldn't be any different, really. I'd just make sure to pick a blue that shows up against whatever metal I use for the base. I'll try to have these done soon, so you can see what I'm blabbing about. :tongue.gif:

Can always change'm later, if need be.
Yep I like your idea better (no offence) but I dont quite understand the other guys explanation.
So, I needs me some feedback. How could this pack be improved? What textures might need a bit of a redo?
Does everyone like the GUI? (I'm not really convinced on it, myself.)
Lemme know if you've got any ideas kicking about. Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm going to say this now.
I LOVE this pack, almost every single peice of it, but I have to say: making the Junk blocks orange was a TERRIBLE idea.
Just look at the pain it caused you.
I think it would be better if they were more whiteish.

*Laughs* I dunno about pain, but... This is the first I've heard of people not liking the orangish junk block. I tried to make them sort of copperish to go with the copper feathers, string, and plating you get from chickens, spiders, and cows respectively.
I'd be happy to change the colour of all of them, but I wanted them to match up together. Make sense? Change 'em all, or leave 'em be?

Curse PremiumAnd light is shed. :smile.gif:
Good stuff. It'll be ready soon.
And singing of chorus,
down from the heavens,
descended Chuck Norris.

Curse PremiumI require more feedback! It's like a ghost town in here, all of a sudden...
What could be done to make this pack better?
Currently working on:
-Mirrors
-Other fancy Art File Stuff
-Smoothing & Polishing all files.
What else?
Also, apparently inactive redstone is now completely black
I don't think he thought through how it would affect those who make skins XD
