I just downloaded it; and while I was momentarily turned off by the idea of a neon-green HotBar and Inventory Screen, you actually made it work for me! If you don't might, I'ld like to try and adapt your Texture Pack for use with Minecraft Classic, since its low-res look would be ideal for that environment.....

BTW, added you and KabPack to my "watch list" of favorite threads....

It took a while, but I did it! And I think it turned out pretty well too. The textures are up on MinecraftCustomizer and the direct download (which comes from there). Mirrors will get it in the next point update.

I'm hoping for a little feedback here, although I'm not expecting much. I hear notch is adding a bunch of textures to the nether in the future (1.8?). Would it be cool if I turned the nether into kind of a steampunk paradise? Its kinda difficult now, seeing as there are only like three textures to work with, but that will change.

AMAZING STONE!!!!!

Not only does it look pretty good underground,

but it looks frickin amazing in structures!

Having said that.. you can't get it yet. So sorry, but I've gotta figure out how I want the ores to work. Just fishing for opinions at the moment.

What do you think of the new stone? I think its a little bothersome that it tiles, but I think that is far offset by being able to build with it.

Updated with new tracks (goodbye monorail (it's still on the customizer)), new mossy cobblestone, and slightly edited regular cobble (there was a pixel that was bugging me. Go get it!
