The dirt looks a bit too dark, but except that and that new yellow grass, it looks awesome. Love the brown, gloomy grass, cobble, doors (though they look a bit blurry?), bricks, and planks.
Keep up the good work
Yeah, that yellow/brown grass is from my biome colors. I'm pretty sure I'm using the one from Brown and Bloom, so yours would probably be quite different. I'm not going to bother with biome coloring until it is supported; I've got other things to work on :-)
As for the doors, I'll look into them, but I'm pretty sure it's because you were looking at a resized screenshot. Drop it into the game and you'll find the sexiest door out there.
Maybe I'll devote a screenshot specifically to the wooden door, because I'm just so proud of it.
Lots of small edits, notably the TNT and pumpkins look a ton better, gravel is easier to notice while mining (but if you mine in total dark I really can't help you), and dirt is lightened a smidgen.
Next on the block will be the furnace and lightstone, and after that I'm out of ideas.
I really like the dirt, sand, gravel and grass. The iron and redstone ores throw me off a bit though. They just don't seem to match up as well as the coal does (which I really like btw).
The torches look really good, but the redstone torches seem a bit big. I also can't seem to get into the redstone wire... the texture and color. It could just be my personal tastes, but something seems kind of off that I can't place at the moment.
As far as the doors go, I really like the looks of both, but the viewport area seems a bit low. Again, that could just be me since I might be used to the ones in my old texture pack.
Overall I really really like your pack and look forward to more. It's one of the better 16x16 packs I have seen by far.
I looked at the ores and I'll agree with your view on iron, so I'll be cleaning that up later today. Redstone seems fine though. I will also see what I can do about the redstone systems, but I don't know what, yet. I've been going for copper wire with transistor torches, but it just doesn't look that good, does it.
Doors: I figured out early on that you have to stoop to see through easily. At first I was a little concerned, then I decided it feels more natural, but that might be because I always have to stoop to look through peep holes at hotels. Sucks if you don't know what the shift button does, I guess.

Woohoo! First post! I've been playing for a while and had to register to tell you how much I love your pack!
I do have to agree with Ashien though that the Iron ore seems a bit strange, maybe it's just the color? It just doesn't match up with the coal. Also, the windows on the doors do look a bit low, but I can live with that.
Other than that though, I absolutely love your style and color selection. This has become my default pack now and I absolutely love it ! Thank you ever so much! = )
I've updated the iron ore, hopefully not enough to make anyone cry. Also, the KabPack Composition is available, with textures from Painterly Pack and Survival Horror Mob Skins. Let me know what you think of the latter, seeing as I don't really ever see mobs in my pristine test environment.
Changes to the redstone systems will be coming next, whenever I figure out what I want to do. (Ideas?)
I really really really like the entire pack except for the netherstone/bloodstone/red mossy cobblestone (to be exact on its 3 names) I think it should be presented better, instead of just pale red lines instead of grey

GENERATION 22: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation
hey kabonos i was wondering if you could make an alternative KabPack with the stone, ores, and all stone-related things in a lighter tone, or even better, Painterly's light stone color
not that the pack needs it desperately, but i do like lighter colors on my caves and cliffs
