I was wondering, could you make textures for the new items added to kingbdog's minecraft advanced mod, along with the varietal saplings mod, and Shockah's Minerals Mod? If you want to consider them, here they are :
I have some trouble with the UI when running this texture pack.. as in in, there's nothing there. No inventory, quickbar, hearts, armor, or even Esc screen.
I did the patch instillation process initially, then just put the folder in the texturepacks folder and ran it from there.
I thought it was some mods that were causing the problem, so i deleted my bin and resources folder, reinstalled, and ran a patch again and added mods one by one until I found one that was causing a problem, and it turns out to be Modloader..
Am I the only one having this problem, and what can be done to fix it?

Believe it or not, I am using Paint.net.
I understand your difficulty, as I had alot of trouble when I started out. The thing is you just need to learn the ins and outs of Paint.NET. Play around with it and experiment.
One thing I can say is, Gradients are your friend. If you experiment with the gradient and selection tools, things will start to look alot better.
Additionally, you can easily get images with which to serve as a template for your work from simple image searches on google. You can add filters to image style, color and size (32x32 pixels and otherwise).
Painting over a pre-existing image that looks like what you want can help alot. In fact, its how I got the hookshot and Fancypack decorations to look so nice.
And don't be afraid to use your imagination and use any image available as a resource. For example, you'd never have guessed that I used Hozz's compass icon to create the Cheffcraft cakes.
may i ask y its not working can someone help me i'm using xau's hd patcher and everything but when i go into texturepacks in minecraft the texturepack is gray? it is in a .zip file plz help!

I do intend to do textures for several mod updates, including Humans+, Minecraft Advanced, some of Nandonalt's mods, etc. The thing is, I'm in college and I've got a full class load, so my updates will take some waiting to get out.
As for new textures for Shockah's Minerals, and others: good news! The fine fellow zexion13 has already done some, and I believe that they go with my pack rather well. Just look for the link just below my texture pack's download link... or here:
Runesmith Can You Maybe Add installing instructions in your texture pack? For some strange reason when i put the .zip file into the texture pack folder and i go onto minecraft to use it it's gray and i cannot select it? I used the hd texturepack fix and it's still not working plz help! :smile.gif:
If you are refering to going into Minecraft and selecting texture packs from the in game menu there, the reason why it's grey is because default Minecraft doesn't support non-16x16 textures. Mine is 32x32.
If you patched Minecarft with Xau's patcher, it should use my textures as soon as you load a game to play, new or old.
Simple to say: HD textures won't be loaded from the in game menu.

Any idea why certain paintings aren't appearing? I only get the LoZ pictures for 2x2.
Do you have the Extreme Paintings Mod Installed? I haven't played in a while, but I was able to get paintings placed in the non-default postions in the kz.png to show up on my walls in 1.2_02 with it.
