I like what you have done. The lighting is well balanced when played. But my only pepeave is not being able to see the inventory and such.

Feedback is always welcomed. However in this case I don't think I can altr the size of the GUI Files without reverting back to the 16x16 size files for them. Still, I am unsure.
Comparitively speaking, I've not noticed a size difference. If you will please post screens of your output. Perhaps this is a mere oversight on my part.
I need to re-upload the tex-pack, as I worked on it last night and updated some of the base textures. This will most likely come tonight.
But my biggest question, was / is "How do you feel when playing it? Do you want to put on some daft-punk and scream "Common Kiddies! This ride is about to get interesting!"? Do you feel like you're inside Tron at all, and if not what is it missing?"
I created an account just to post that, I really like this texture pack! I love TRON and when I saw this I had to try it out. The detail of all the blocks and what not are insane! Great Job and I can't wait to see what is in store for future updates!
ok so i tried to download and install this texture pack a few weeks ago and idk what happened but i un.. uh what do u call it? ah yes i extracted the zip file to texture packs and opened mine craft when i looked in the mods and texture packs place thing, the tron pack was there but gray i played it and it was the same as always - reguler old mine craft. thing is that i think i deleted and reenstalled the tron pack or something i just started to mess around with it and aoas - minecraft didnt work - half the time it wouldnt load and when it did it was all gray and white and it just sucked ill post a pic of what it was like if u need me too but i just wana play reguler mine craft forget texture packs!!! PLZ Help!!!

I take honor in those words. Its definately not the most exciting thing in the world to brainstorm what something should and should not look like and then trying to translate that to digital media (of any form). But I have to say it is fun at times and when its all over with I enjoy my work.

You will need the latest MCPatcher to load this file. As it is NOT a 16 x 16 texture pack. It a a resource heavy 128 x 128 so it requires a special set of instruction to install. Scroll to the top of this thread and you will see all instructions there for downloading and installing.

I am sorry to say that as of now there are no plans for me making a 16 x 16 version. But by all means feel free to take my textures and do just that. If fact I encourage you to expand your own creativity and recreate all things you like.
Just remeber to give credit where credit is due in the end.
Perhaps you too would be more interested in RezCraft created by Soulstorm. Its a 64 x 64 texture pack.
But as much as I would love a million I just don't see myself doing this as I am enjoying the 128 x 128 look.

Ok, this will be the THIRD reinvention of this theme pack. As hard as I wanted to stay away from RezCraft and Soulscribes "hexagon" style for grid, I gave in. However I think that you will see that I did not copy his Idea at all, but instead reinvented the "hex" grid to creat a tangiable 3D look.
By using 128 bits vs 64 I am allowed far mroe creativity with adding shadows and depth.

I am excited about the direction this texture pack is taking and I am more than ever pleased with the results. It DEFINATELY Feels like I am in the TRON game when I am playing.

YES!!! I will be working on the carts and rails tonight. As well as redoing the workbench and storage boxes. I am trying to step away from the cartoony look into a more realistic appearance. IE: Less soft and more hard light.
I love what you've done with this! I looked at the other Tron texture packs, and I didn't like them as much, personally. I was just wondering what you were going to do with the weapons and tools, if you were going to change them too. Also, I think it would be cool if you changed the enemy mobs to look like the bad guys in Tron.
Its still a WIP, and those changes are comming. I am currently working on the mobs and weapons. I got a ways to go still, but the process is slowing down due to family life =(.
To be honest I still haven't uploaded the NEW textures. I've gotten lazy. But after work today, I got a texture to smoooth then I will upload the NEW textures. I think they will go well. Please check it out. Its a more "Tron" looking texture than the one I have now.
Nicely done. I can really see that you are dueling for individuality here with Rezcraft, and appear to be doing quite wonderfully at that. Hope to see more releases from you.
My only real problem is that it doesn't feel like I'm in the grid. I can easily distinguish each object from each other, but it doesn't feel like the grid.
Apologies to all, I've had serious hardware issues which has left me Computerless over the last week or so. I am back up and running now and I will be posting the latest build of TronCraft.
It is not complete but way overdue.
