This texture pack doesnt get the attention it deserves. I have looked at tons of other texture pacls and this one is the only one that felt "right" to me.
Frendern's back had orange wood and other texture packs outlined thier blocks. This is the texture pack that has everything that I have been looking for.
I dont understand you guys. The leaves look perfect and I really like how you made all the animals cuter. Also the logs look amazing.
Good job and I hope you keep on updating your texture pack. This pack just is the king of clean texture packs.
After using the new frameless glass for awhile, I think it works fine. I actually still want to load an old world on my server where I built a large glass dome as part of a mansion made of planks (and the wooden frame around the glass gave it a very cohesive look). I could take a screenshot with the frameless glass, and then go back to the previous texture pack version with the frame and take another screeny for comparison.
I suppose the frameless version makes more sense in any case, since the original texture is frameless, and it technically is supposed to be a purely glass block. But hey. :tongue.gif:
And I totally support any further textures you haven't modified to be modified. And the hambone is indeed awesome.
edit: And since you sometimes consider doing one-off modifications (biome-less grass and trees, original ham) for some individuals or making alternative versions for some groups of people (like those who want streakless glass), it would be cool if you had a website like the Painterly Pack where you could let people customize little odds and ends like that and generate a customized .zip for them. Even framed vs frameless glass. Not that that wouldn't be a lot of work and resources to dedicate to a texture pack.
First off, let me just say that this was the first pack that made me abandon the normal textures to put in the effort of getting one of the damn packs installed. And it was worth it. Such good stuff!
I am a huge fan of the hambone, so please don't change that. I do agree with the gentleman who said that the leaves could use more transparency. Maybe the mossy cobblestone could be made to look a little more like normal cobblestone that happens to have moss on it, rather than green cobblestone? But these are gripes. Fantastic work!

Thanks for all the good words and support Rich :biggrin.gif: I plan on keeping this pack updated as often as I can. Currently I'm trying to balance this along with three other projects, and this one is the only flexible one, so sometimes updates come slowly for the simple fixes. I try my best to update it quickly though, but sometimes the updating across multiple sources stuff overwhelms. I definitely appreciate all the support and hope to continue working on this to support it for those of you who enjoy it as much as I can:D

You should do custom textures for: pick, sword, shovel, ect...
I have modified slightly each of them, but I do plan on going back eventually and working on improving them.

I agree that it would be very cool to go through and set something like this up, but yes, it would be a lot of extra work. I'm horrible at web design, as I just don't have time to really learn it, but I'm forcing myself to get some things done in this next few months so I have a portfolio site up and running, so maybe around that time I can consider doing something similar to this idea. Otherwise I can always just release specialized packs for specific requests.

Terribly great texture pack, very well designed and clean. I like the photos you used.
Thanks!

I love, love, love, love it! I've been looking for the perfect texture pack, and this one is most definitely the closest I've come to finding it.
I quite like the trees the way they are, but I suppose a little more transparency would be fine as well, just to differentiate further between leaves and grass.
That looks amazing, my only problem is with the leaves, they look sort of.... Spongy.
And the pig's nose looks a bit large, I like the old pig better.
Other than that, great pack.
I unzipped the file, swapped the terrain.png files with this one, and zipped the file back up, but I am unable to select the texture pack now. Did I do something wrong?
When zipping texture pack you need to make sure that don't zip the folder, just the conrtents. This is odd ESP on Mac as it will create the folder when you unzip, causing confusion.
Is there any way to get rid of the character textures?
Im getting my account soon (Ive been borrowing my brothers) so i wil play online and i want to be able to use this texture pack and see the custom skins everyone has.
Any ideas?

When you want to change your skin, go to Minecraft.net, login, go to preferences, and upload the skin that you want to have on. Everyone's skin shows up as their own custom one, IF they have changed it. If not, it will look like the default one(the one you use when you haven't changed your skin). I hope you comprende :smile.gif:

I know how to do that. But with this texture pack it changes the characters skin. I wanted to be able to use this texture pack but not the character skin that comes with it. (my other post was worded badly)
Edit: im dumb and the texture pack only replaces people with-out a custom skin. So nevermind this comment. (just consider it a bump )

So many replies! Thanks for all the immense support, everyone! I'm so far behind on things. Alright where to start..
I'm planning on fixing some of the variances in the gray, dark gray, and black wool for sure, maybe doing some of the gui objects over again, fix the pink gravel being so darn pink, and probably some other things as I remember them and look through the thread. I've been busy with school and other game projects, so I've been extremely preoccupied recently, but I hope to release something this week some time, if I can steal the time!
If anyone does feel like advertising my texture pack, you can steal my signature and use it, its just
I generally only modify the textures notch wants the community to modify currently, and has provided easy ability to do so, but if many people want the modified water and fire textures- and portal I suppose; then I can probably do it for you guys.
On the topic of paintings, I'm on the fence. I have a problem with modifying art that someone made that directly, but I might consider making simplified, cleaned up versions of each of the paintings- as that should still do them justice.
Thanks again everyone, for all the support! I'll try and get a new update out for you guys within the week- my free time is unpredictable now-a-days, but I should be able to get to it :biggrin.gif:

I do have one problem though...
The mossy cobblestone has no grey, so it doesn't blend with normal cobble at all.
I guess its personal taste... But I think they both should blend together like they do with default textures.
Excellent work.
