Very clean indeed. Only two things I sort of don't like - the ham and cobblestone, but meh. Everything else looks great and it sort of has a nice comic book feel to it.. Loving the zombie and screenshots are nice. (random question: Is it possible to change the fire or water look?)
Either way I'll be most likely using this from now on and hope you update it periodically.
To start, I absolutely love this texture pack. From a standpoint as a fellow graphics artist, I think you've done a great job making a clean and uniform set of textures.
One thing I would change personally is the ore blocks; I think the edges are too dark and the corner highlights are too strong. I feel a more subtle shading would look better with structures, maybe something similar to the new ore blocks?
Other than that and removing the frame around the glass (I never really got why, but everyone does it), I wouldn't change a thing with this pack.
Regardless of what happens, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future! :smile.gif:
I'm glad you like it :biggrin.gif: I'll agree that the diamond, gold and iron etc blocks do need to change. I guess I'd say that I've been more or less defeated by those. I never had any really good idea on what I should do for them, so I kinda just made them and lived with them. I'll definitely be addressing this soon, because they're kinda distracting and ugly :biggrin.gif:

That mentioned, i do like the frame as it can tell you theres a glass block there, but I don't care that its brown.
I wonder can you do a slight transparency? ( On the border )
Only other thing that only slightly bugs me now is the chests, if you've got a wooden plank house your chest does its best to blend in. :tongue.gif:
I, again am on the fence about having a no-frame glass, because it does look too odd without the frame in many uses, and I don't like the whole glass-block frame look all that much. I really with I could do transparency of like 50% on those areas, because then I'd totally just have the streaks being way less obvious and a glass frame equally as transparent. Sadly, currently there isn't that capability with that block (actually I think I assumed it wasn't possible.. I'm going to go check right now..)- just checked, and slight transparency isn't possible. I'll keep messing with the glass. :biggrin.gif:
The chests, I'm thinking the chests are blending in because I don't have a contrasting enough base or border on them (and the workbench). I noticed this when I was doing the last update, and it'll be fixed in the next update for sure.

I was looking for a pack to use temporarily whilst I waited for Quandary to be updated to 1.2, however after finding this I realise that I will not need Quandary anymore. This is an excellent texture pack, well done.
Does it work with Wild Grass?
I can go and make support for it, since that just requires a few more textures, correct? I'll go do it look it up and do it for you guys, probably update all of this stuff tonight or later today.

I'm surprised that you dislike the ham and cobble, but I'm glad you like the rest :biggrin.gif: I know there's ways to force the water and fire changes, but I'm fairly reserved about doing so until notch fully supports those additions to the texture pack capabilities.

This is exceptional! Please continue this theme pack, I really, really like it.
I'll continue it as long as there is support! :biggrin.gif: I try to update it as often as possible, whenever my other projects aren't taking precedent.
I really love this texture pack, I have been using for a few weeks now.
Being a tweaker, I had to change a couple of things and I thought I'd share in case anyone was interested.
1. Changed the glass to remove the borders and make it look a bit more 'squarey' like the water.
2. Changed the pumpkins into Weighted Companion Cubes
3. Made the Half-Blocks the light color of the original texture pack
4. Put the moss in the mossy cobble in between the stones
5. Tidied up the bookshelf a bit.
Here is my modified terrain.png:
Thanks again for making this incredible texture pack!
I added support for Wild Grass mod as per request, as well as changing the way the ore blocks look. I messed around with the glass a whole lot before finally deciding on this glass.
The new glass texture is so epic! Thank you so much!!!
I'm glad you like it! I'm still undecided :biggrin.gif: An you're very welcome!!!

it looks so much like FAILBLADES texture pack >:sad.gif:
I tried googling FAILBLADES pack and searching it here and got nothing, so either that pack is not very well known or something else, but all I can say is that this pack is 100% made by me, and I can't comment on much more than that until I see this other pack, because maybe FAILBLADES just lookes so much like CleanDesign :ohmy.gif:! Haha
for some reason the grass/dirt block are all greenish liek the dirt in those bloks all kinda turn green XD i noticed this after i installed AO better lighting and simple map

This only happens if you install the wrong Wild Grass Mod (the one that is for BL + BG), as it has the changes from BG (BetterGrass) in there as well, thus turning the sides of most dirt blocks green if you didn't have BG installed. So just one more problem not caused by this pack, but another mod :biggrin.gif:
hey thanks for the update!
I have realised that grey wool and black wool look very similar,
personally i think the grey wool is a bit too dark. (dark enough that u cant really tell the difference from far away, especially at night)
but once again its just my opinion it may be my screen who knows :smile.gif:
I think this is my first post and it is just to say thank you for this great pack, it really suits Minecraft and goes brilliantly with betterlights. No matter how often I move to other packs I always come back to this one!
Thanks and keep up the awesome work! :smile.gif:
I'm glad you like it! You are very welcome, thanks for enjoying my pack :biggrin.gif:

I agree! Noticed this the other day, but forgot to change it. I'll release a quickfix when I get time :biggrin.gif:
So, I was looking for a new texture pack because doku's pack is totally outdated. And I found yours. I have to say, it is very neat. The only thing I would love to see changed; The porkchops, I'm totally in love with the regular porkchop model, so please re-do that. Other than that, its an awesome pack : ]
Also, I'm feared by the pigs as I've got an entire chest full of porkchops (im a real pig hunter xD) And you making them look cute as hell makes it hard 4 me to slay them =/

I unzipped the file, swapped the terrain.png files with this one, and zipped the file back up, but I am unable to select the texture pack now. Did I do something wrong?
I love this texture pack. I like the little cubes you constantly see everywhere (get it?). I really like the ore textures, but my only complain is that minecarts should look brighter and gravel should look a bitt else, 'cause it just looks like dark pink sand.
Anyway, love this texture pack. 1e texture pack donwloaded!
Thanks! I definitely agree, I need to make the gravel less pink. I'll make sure to do that in the next update!

I like my hambone :biggrin.gif: I'll consider making an alternate version with fancy original porkchop instead of hambone for you. Glad you're enjoying the rest!
