Ok, so terrain is done but i have to go right now so i dont have time to throw it in a pack, i have however emailed everything i need to work on it to myself so no worries i will get an updated version out today, everything is drawn its just a matter of coloring in the dyes and getting all the items in place.
The note block is going to look weird because it uses the side of the juke box for all of its sides, so i will have to change the way the side of the juke box looks..
downloaded it, love it. although my comp doesnt so i have to use fog while it is on. and flowing water? forget about it. (not really, I am just very lag intolerant) but great job. the only thing for me is from a distance they look like colored specks. But since i doubt you can do much about that great job anyway! cant wait for the low res. keep it up! (Ill probly try it again when you do the mobs.)
The lapis lazuli blocks look incredible, as do the new lava and water.
One problem I've found is that if you put a cake down on the ground, the sides and top are too small, so there are gaps in the block that allow you can see the (transparent) inside
Great update.. but BTW, in the particles.png, you need to add the note that pops out of the music blocks when you right click them.
!THE NOTE!!

While you're at it - I noticed the redstone particles are a bit off (Meaning - they are moved to the right too much, so part of it is chopped off and pokes from the other side of it).
I was wondering if anyone know if there is any way to add to the .png file. I love this texture pack but a mod i just got (minecolony) uses some extra items. Im not asking to creator to implement these OBVIOUSLY, but i just want to insert something so the items isnt invisible. Anyone know?
Here are some screenshots of the world my mate and I have been working on using this texture pack.
My office building and Billy's creeper king monument.
The creeper king and Billy's wizard's tower.
Fort Dandylion across the small bridge, the rebuilt lighthouse on the left.
Fort Dandylion's keep.
The town at Fort Dandylion, with the wizard's tower poking itself over the top of Minas Tirith [Minas Tirith is both the walled town on the other side of the bridge and the continent itself].
The suspension bridge.
I really like this texture pack and it gets big thumbs up for the following reasons:
- It's original: it isn't a re-hash of the current textures, or just a high def. version of those textures, it is a genuinely different visual style.
- The textures are all of exceptional quality, they all look brilliant, are really crisp and they work together too.
- Highlighting the block you are breaking is a brilliant idea and has the potential to reduce accidental damage, injuries and death by large amounts.
My only request would be that the top of the grass texture be the same shade of grass as is on the sides, rather than incredibly darker. This is one of the things I most dislike about the standard textures and a pet hate of all texture packs produced that retain this look. I might be a fan of light and bright textures, but even so the difference between the shades of green on the side and on the top just doesn't look right. Though given most other texture packs are like it, is it something that can't be changed? I'm not saying they need be identical, but tweaking the top so it is some shades lighter than it is would be nicer imo.

Yes, but it requires a bit of effort.
First off - Are MineColony items 128x (So the items.png should be 2048x) like Scribblecraft? If so - You don't have to worry about stretching.
Unpack both files somewhere (The source one and the target texture) and boot-up your graphical editing software of choice (MS Paint doesen't count, i'm using Gimp so the directions will be taken from there).
Open up the target texture (Scribblecraft's items.png)
Open the source file as layers (Now, if it's not the right size, you will have to resize the Minecolony layer to the target texture's size).
Carefuly erase all the unwanted items from one layer or the other (OR, you can select those you want and copy them onto the target texture, but that requires extreme care with placement).
Once done, save the new file and place it into minecraft.jar
If that sounds confusing, you can just send me the file and tell me what you want to edit.

Ah that makes sense. I have photoshop so i might try messing with it in there. thanks for the info :smile.gif:
Hey, I've having a bit of an issue with the pack. When I load it up and get in-game the water just looks like a higher res of the default water. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Can't wait to get it.
Defiantly going to try it out.

finally, now you guys can tell me what i messed up.
