LOVING this texture pack! but i will have to agree with the stone being too dark, i put up about 50 torches in a small cave and i could still hardly see anything, also it would be good if there were a diff between dirt/stone because i often play with the sound off so then i dont know what im breaking and its bad for your tools to break the wrong kind of tile with the wrong kind of tool. I kept breaking dirt with my pick and it makes it wear out that much faster D:

Yeah making dtone and dirt share the same texture was a bad idea. I'll be taking a step back and making it the grass/dirt texture.

Skip towards the end to see how dark it gets at night. It does look a little brighter when actually playing the game, but not by that much. And please excuse the voice, I hate it too. :sad.gif:
I like the video. Fairly entertaining and helpful. I will be changing the dirt to be same on all sides. I didn't know what I was thinking at the time that made it sound like a good idea. Right not my pack looks a lot better when you use no biomes color. I'll have have a biome color set eventually. As of now using the biome colors given with the pack will bring more satisfying results. I'm also reworking the bricks.

I know I can do it easily enough with GIMP my self, but I thought I would mention this here as well. You may want to switch the sand and gravel textures so that sand is lighter than gravel.
Update: A lot of re-textures. Stone was made brighter. Bricks are now distinct looking. Dirt and stone are now different. Ores are solid blocks to make building circuits. Biomes added. And a little bonus:

when i go start up minecraft with this skin in C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\Application Data\.minecraft\texturepacks my minecraft will not load and it will pop up a error screen please help!!!

The texture option in minecraft only works with 16x16 textures. In order to get it to work, you have to use Xau's HD texture fix to patch it into the game's default textures. You can find the patcher here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=46173

Holy flipping HELL is it amazing. I was origianlly playing Minecraft on a
32x but because I love Tron I used the HD texture fix patcher thing (forgot
the name) to patch my game to 64x.
The only question I have is this: Could you post a picture with one block
of everything (completed that is) and below it caption what each block
represents?
I'm not sure if that made much sense but like... have a block of glass and
underneath it say "Glass" and do the same thing with every completed block
item you have (minus teasers... don't want to ruin teasers). That might
help me (and others) figure out what is what (mainly for the ore types).
Also: I LOVE your derezzing feature where it looks like the code is
breaking apart. Pure and absolute GENIUS!.

Yea a picture index. Sorry, it's 5 AM where I am at and I'm still building this... well it's a tower stretching from the Adminium all the way up as far as I can go. Having to drink soda and the like to stay awake. If you want I could submit a pic of what I have done in it so far as like in game examples.
