This is one of the only texture packs bigger than 32x32 that i actually want.

OMG epic nerdgasm... THIS is so awesome!!! ME and my friend want to see tron so badly and the neon lights look so sexy, so to see it in Minecraft will just make our lives so much better!

Anyone got any ideas for the plants and mushrooms? I'm having quite a bit of trouble thinking of what to do with these textures.

Hmm...First thing that came to mind were, like...Tangled wires or something. :ohmy.gif:

Maybe just hologram-like plants/mushrooms?

Well for mushrooms I could do a mushroom looking object with circuits to show the type. I could probably make hologram flowers. Although my main issue is wheat.

I've made cacti a red circuit block that is glitching and slipping in and out of rez. So upon touch, character will be harmed because it's a glitch. :biggrin.gif:

How do you like that for creativity?

wheat could be like progress bars but...like, bar graphs, hope it halps.

my name is Trond with a silent D so i got to love this.

I am a massive fan of Tron, and anything related to it. I've booked my tickets for midnight Imax 3D opening of Legacy, so this pack is of big interest to me.

Spiders can be grid bugs, they were shown once in the original Tron.
Wheat could be be upright neon blue cables, with little bits broken at the top
Ghasts should so be recognizers, they float in such a way like the Ghasts. Is it possible to replace the fireballs they shoot?

Minecarts? Solar Sailer? The track is a bit like the light trails. Unless they are light cycles, which is still awesome.

Loving your work so far, I will be using this pack once it is released.

For the wheat, maybe it could be like a screen or something, and as it's "growth" would be indicated by text (or something that looks like text) being added to the screen to simulate a computer doing some sort of process and keeping a log of it.

That might work, but then what makes bread? :ohmy.gif:

I dunno. Maybe some sort of storage device. The wheat icon could be a disc, and the bread could be a hard drive, or something like that.

I'll have to put some thought into this.

Idea for the wheat: When you you plow the land, you turn the dirt block into a floppy drive in which you insert disks (seeds). This will then generate a code. Once the code (wheat) is fully generated, it turns into a script which you combine together to rez (create) in a first aid (bread) kit.

I'd hate to bother you but couldn't you release the pack in it's incomplete form for now? I'm sure most of the people here wouldn't mind an incomplete pack if it's as awesome as yours. Besides, wouldn't it be a great way to get constructive feedback? People might discover flaws with your textures that you didn't see yourself.

Let me finish the crafting table and the furnace, and then I'll release. I'll probably have it up tonight or tomorrow for beta.
