i would say for sure, but it all depends on what 1.8 adds to the game, i can only recycle stuff so much (the bed is the side of the jukebox stretched a bit xD)

if i decide to take it, i will probably make a thread for it. i state this because 1.8 is the biggest update for minecraft since the first alpha.

so nobody gets stranded, there will be 2 updates, and this will be with every update
the first will be a functionality update, which will be just chucking stuff in to make it work while i do updating
the second will be when i get done with textures, as i am a bit lazy at times lol

Just a bit. I was hoping to start the thread. For technical purposes and to mainly explain the situation in its entirety. I'll of course let you use all the space you want (Second post? (to infinity and beyond?)). That okay? If so I will make it immediately.

not sure what you mean by technical purposes, but wouldn't you be able to explain it if i made the thread? i would just prefer to make the thread if it's something i'm working on, and i'm sure anyone understands this.

at any rate, could you go into the technical reasons?


side note, has anyone noticed the main forum page takes less than 5 hours to load now? XDDD

Idk, just explaining the situation. You can make it, But then let me take the second post :tongue.gif:. I'm letting you take it, doesn't mean I can't look after it still.

i know :tongue.gif: nothing i could do would prevent you from looking after it anyway (except a block user from accessing thread plugin, which i don't think this forum even has) XD

also, terraria is addicting! especially shadow armor+rocket boots+night's edge sword. i think terraria and minecraft should merge. no offense, but a diamond sword looks like s&*^ compared to stuff in terraria.

edit: who here doesn't like either restructuring of the forums? sure, it is a bit messy, but both restructuring ideas suck >.>

Rename it but make sure in the title it says [16x16]. Its more of a courtesy. Up to you, but Athy always loved when people would send in picks of the pack. I put that in my post, but whatever.

And, were back to square one. Or in lame mans terms... We have no one to do the texture pack agian. Demon's thread has been closed by an moderator and so, we are back to the Original Texture pack. I will not try to argue with the moderator on this choice, neither is Demon to my knowledge, considering the fact he no longer has much of an interest in minecraft in general. Thus this pack is put on pause once more.

I have again assumed temporary moderator til Athy's return. again...

But I'm happy to say that YES we are even now, still, alive. I do have a way to reach Athy now and so hopefully I can squeeze a few updates from her now and then. But until November, don't expect too much. As alway, comment if you have questions regarding the pack.

i recently joined the server (less than a month ago)... but now it says that I was banned for a FLY HACK. A FREAKING FLY HACK THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO USE. I was banned for a crime i never committed. I have two close friends in the server (grandspasguitars and DimondBlade124) who can vouch for me saying that i did not use any type of fly hack. please accept my plead to be let back into the server. Thank you for your time.

Alright, DemonfangArun is done with Minecraft, I'll talk to him about what he's done so far and get to work during November's Thanksgiving break.

When Christmas Break comes around for me I'll be out of school and can really get back into this pack. I know I've made a lot of failed promises, but that was mostly due to real life sucking.

Right now I'm looking for anyone with texturing experience to help me out with this pack, I've come to the realization I simply can't do this on my own. SO if you are interested in helping with the pack and actually getting it updated, send me a message.

anyway, since my long post was deleted, and i don't feel like typing it again, here is a shorter version: (ok, that didn't end up shorter)

first off, as far as any work i've done on the pack, when i deleted minecraft, i deleted all the texture pack work i'd done on it as well, so i don't have anything. a thought that came up from the time i'd typed this 20 min ago, any changes i did to textures must be discarded, as i don't want any who did what issues, or my work to be used. <this really shouldn't be an issue, but feel like mentioning it anyway. (and yes, i do have a copy of it, but only to make sure of this)

as far as minecraft in general goes, i'm not really a minecraft hater (not wasting time), but i really don't like any changes since 1.6.6. and about the world corruption thing, who knows, might have been minecraft, might not, dunno, but either way, >.>.

as far as the pack goes, dumping minecraft, i had to dump the pack, because i can't bugtest it, and thusly there's not much i can do.

also, i do know about dragons, but, for once, dragons in a game won't get me to play it (or a game where the player hurts the dragons, obviously).

also, replies to any questions to me, unless directed toward my email, may be slow.

Aren't you just a busy guy. And if you don't like the changes, there some guy working on a mod to revert to older versions of Minecraft (I can't find the link, but if I do i'll post it)
