As another dragon obsessive, I probably will use this too once it's done just because of the dragons, I just think you should make the dirt / grass a little more ... seperated, since it looks like the grass is inside the dirt. It's not totally realistic or unrealistic, I just like that better... Also, I just think the stone should be more gray, otherwise things look pretty good. The evidence behind why I love dragons is because of my username, and no, it has nothing to do with Harry Potter: draco is the first scientific name (scientific as in latin or greek) of all dragons, it's just how it is...

First, I just wanna say I'm now working on the chests, they have the same dark wood as the trees and other wood things. Now on to what Draco has said...
You make a good point with the grass, I'll see what I can do about it. :smile.gif:
The stone is so dark because this pack is going to be relatively dark, when the rest of it is done (Like the nice dark grass) it'll look a bit more like it is supposed to be that dark, but I will put a sliver or two of gray in there just for you.
My username show my love of dragons as well, its a sorta mash up work I put together as a name for my dragon, its old english words, and its supposed to be spelled with an apostrophe (Ath'daraxen) it means "celestial fire dragon". That dragon is actually what I made my minecraft skin into as well... she rocks as a Minecraftian. lol
I personally hate the glass. I like glass that has nothing in it, a frame to know where it's at and thats it. The rest of it does look pretty good. If you need help IDing the blocks in the terrain file, I will gladly lend whatever assistance I can.

I don't really like the glass much either, but for now it will do, until I fix it. :smile.gif:
Really? Thank you! Ok the main two block I am confused about are the one below Mossy Cobblestone and the one below obsidian. They look weird and are gray so its confusing.
And what is the Fire Text one to the far right under the sapling?
And the blue one between the yellow flower and the sapling. Is that water?
And that spiderweb looking thing up by the flowers?

As best as I can tell, below mossy cobblestone is Fancy leaves, and below obsidian is Fast leaves. Fire Text or blue square, I am not 100% on.
Spiderweb is spiderweb, but I don't know what for. The water is in the bottom right above lava. Wish I was able to tell more.

Thank you so much for this! I was wondering where the leaves were... Thank you!!!
What you have told me was more than enough to really get started on this pack, so thank you!!!
These are for you.
As for an update on progess, I tweaked the chest a little, did my obsidian block, working on flowers now, a rose for red and I don't know the for the yellow ( I will probably make that blue... >:3 )
Snapdragon flowers? No idea how that will turn out though.
Good idea! I'll have to try that. For now they will be red and blue roses. I've just gotta take screenshots and you'll get to see all the new stuff!
EDIT: Well I went ahead and put the sun and moon in to see how they would look, and because they aren't transparent I guess they have these nasty white backgrounds... you wouldn't by chance know how to make backgrounds transparent would you?
This is very nice so far. The only thing that really pestered me from what I saw is that your Cobblestone is astoundingly similar to your smooth stone. It's difficult at a glance to tell them apart. Perhaps you should make the cracks a deeper color, nearer to black, or lighten the stones themselves so that they are more easily distinguished. Just my opinion :smile.gif:

Thank you very much for your suggestion! I was planning on doing that actually because the cobblestone wasn't dark enough for me, I'm going to make it as dark as the mossy cobblestone, which I would show but the BBC code is out for a bit... I also changed the glass to clear, with a few dots, but I may still go with my original window idea that I was talking about a few posts back.

Looking at it.... might take me going through and cutting out the whole image or replacing it onto a transparent BG.

I managed to make it work with a little poking around, GIMP has this thing called Magic Wand and you just kinda throw it over an image and it selects the background for you... then you just throw the Alpha layer on it, then clear off the background, TADA all transparent! :smile.gif: Thank you all the same though.
Do you think I should use a medieval sun and moon or stick with the celtic? Personally I want the celtic because it just looks awesome, but this is a kinda sorta medieval pack....
If your sticking with a Medieval pack, go with that type of sun/moon. but for your personal pack, put whatever you want, or include alternates in the pack itself.

Nor can I, they are gonna be so much fun to do, I'm thinking of having the cows *cough* Dragon cows *cough* dropping dragon hide and the chickens dropping dragon feathers, and pigs might just stay pigs so the dragons have stuff to eat!
Support!
Dragons need to be implemented. No arguments.
