For a moment, I was like 'Wut? Why's the grass red?' Then I read NoiGren's comment. Thanks for the info NoiGren. This should just be a Gallifrey texture pack I think. It would be awesome if you could make the Nether Skaro and have Dalek Ghasts flying everywhere, with Thals running around. But I guess you couldn't make Ghasts look like Daleks...
hmm, boxy daleks and the snowballs (what ghasts shoot) blue, with the fire animation like a glow, so it looks like the ghast/dalek is exterminating you!
The Doctor recalls Gallifrey as having 'fields of deep red grass, silver-leafed trees and a burnt orange sky. It had two suns, one of which rose in the south, causing the snow-capped mountains to shine. The Citadel of the Time Lords was enclosed in a transparent dome and was situated on the continent of Wild Endeavour, between the Mountains of Solace and Solitude. Outside the Citadel could be found the Untempered Schism, which was a tear in the fabric of reality.' (Got this from the Encyclopedia, and I think is more or less what was said in the episode.)
Having mentioned this, who'll be willing to try to reconstruct Gallifrey if the texture pack gets to this point? Personally, I see the Nether as the Untempered Schism. Next up, someone needs to make a mod so we can have lots of Doctor Who baddies and not bicker over which monster gets which skin...

FINALLY! I have been waiting for this. Not sure if it's ready to be released yet. I did already fall in love with the wide open plains of red grass, though. Still. Pumpkin-Silurian mask. 'Nuff said. I would love to look through a Silurian mask. Also, you could make the Nether Portals a TARDIS, or, a crack, or, propably better, the Vortex. And the Nether could be the void or Skaro, Skaro would be better. Though i know that Parallel Earth would make more sense and Zombies could be Slitheen and those Nether people could be Cybermen? Bow=Sonic Blaster, like the one Jack uses in series 1 or, better, just a normal LAser gun like Rivers. Lasers are good. Armor.... Suit? Maybe a Diamond helmet could be a.... (Here it comes!)....FEZ. Or a Stetson. Apparently Stetsons are now exceedingly cool. Wait a sec, armor would be epic as the Gallifreyan outfits, but still have diamond helmet as a Fez or Stetson, lolz. Sword could be the big smashy, sonicy staff the Timelord uses in End of Time. Wolfs could be K9, the fluffy bit being the collar. Creepers look like Daleks, as their legs do not move as much and they are everything horrid in a lifeform. Slimes should be something special, like a Graske, only seen in special episodes. I think I'll shut up now, but if you like my ideas I'll post more. You are a legend now.
The texture pack still needs silver leaves. And rocks of "red, brown and purple and gold."
All the other needed changes I believe you already know about. Look forward to the pack's completion!
Even though I'm late in saying this, I'm glad LukeGhostblade is continuing this texture pack. Someone else is making a 32x texture pack, but I only use 16x, so I am eagerly awaiting this. Also, DeathScytheBR is making Weeping Angels! And the displayed skin is fantastic!
One last thing: I accidentally made a TARDIS. Or a near-enough facsimile, anyway. I was building my town, not really paying attention as I was going. Finally, I decided to survey my work so far and I see this:
It's just a fountain, but the flow of the water... And the glowstone window... My friend insists it was destined. If anyone is curious, the texture pack is Alyxandor's Zelda Texture Pack.

I'm not going to mod the icons, or items, as the last time I did that, it wasn't the nicest looking, and made stuff invisible. Maybe when I finish the other blocks and mobs I will.
OH, plans Creepers= Sontarans
Spiders= The red spider queen from one of the Christmas specials-the first on with Donna
Skeletons-Daleks
Zombie pigmen-Zombie cat people. Weeping angels make sense for creepers, but I don't think it would be the best. I made never even mod creepers, as I like how they are Minecraft's classic mob.
