It just has the new tree blocks, the dispencer, and some added support for the WildGrass mod to boot. Oh, and some custom animated water for use with Xau's patcher is in there (Warning: It probably sucks a lot)

Anything I haven't done will just show as normal Minecraft textures.

It is reccomended you directly install this beta using the Minecraft HD Texture Patcher. The zip contains some files that Notch's default texture pack system will not impliment. If you don't wish to overwrite your default textures, this step isn't mandatory, it'll just increase your enjoyment of the pack. However do, at least, use the patcher without it's pack installation setting. It fixes issues with water, gold blocks and all sorts of things that are caused by 32x32 textures.

I also HIGHLY encourage you to use MrMessiah's ambient occlusion mod. It really brings these textures out.

This is a 32x32 texture pack, based upon the HAL Laboratory/Nintendo game, Mother 3, which is the sequel to the more widely known Earthbound. This pack is aimed towards fans of the game, but I believe it may interest anyone looking for a vibrant, simplistic texture pack. All of the textures in the pack use palletes direct from the game's sprites and backgrounds, and are quite often simply modified sprites from the game. What I couldn't edit from the game's resources, I handmade, using parts of other sprites, or simply from scratch, being as true to style as possible.

Fits the Mother series quite well. Good work so far. I'd probably grab this up when it's finished.

Just finished the snow textures. It's a 5 minute job, but whatever, I like to show off


I'm thinking for armour, I'll probably have the Pigmask suit, going up in rank as the armour goes up in quality. And gold could be something dorky like the garbagemen or aquatic pigmasks, given how utterly useless it is.

Also, I have come up with the excellent brainspark that the compass should be an arrow lizard.

EDIT: Oh, and once I've finished with the actual texture component of this pack, I plan to edit the music and SFX, to make this game as Mother 3 like as possible.

Couldn't agree more. Drill Dozer is a close second, though.

It's a pig's face, actually. I couldn't achieve the look of Mother 3's pigs very well at all with the default body shape. Having the face on the body just looked better.
