They are a little big, but I can't think of another way to represent small rocks without them being lost in the noisy texture.
If you've got any ideas, let 'er rip.
Perhaps change the upper left highlight on them? That's what probably makes it look so bubble like, as it's such a common feature in cartoon bubbles and the like
Hi, I want to download this texture pack, but the link to download isn't working for me. The Mediafire page just refreshes a couple times and stays stuck on "Processing download request". Would it be possible for you to mirror it on a different site?

Sorry for the delay. As expected, Mediafire's support personnel tried as hard as they could to be technically correct but utterly useless in their responses to my questions.
The download link is working now.

Thanks for looking into it, but I'm still getting the same thing even with this new link. :sad.gif: Stuck at "Processing download request" after it auto-refreshes multiple times and the download link never actually shows up. It's doing it in all browsers.
I've downloaded numerous other texture packs hosted from MediaFire, so I don't exactly know why it's being difficult with yours. I googled for the problem and it seems to be fairly common with MediaFire.
edit: I tried downloading it again earlier today and it finally did! :biggrin.gif: Time to give the pack a try soon!
WOW!!! I've veen looking long and hard for something like this. That doeesn't change minecraft but adds to it thankyou very much
EDIT
Long post coming sorry.
Also could you take a look at Shockah's Minerals Mod and make the stuff, mostly the tools, blocks, and ores to look like yours? I hope it's not too much trouble.
Here's a quick summary of the stuff so you can make them unique I guess.
Obsidian Uses dark sticks
Obsidian Sword - deals 7 hearts damage (Diamond Sword deals 5 hearts)
Obsidian Pickaxe - can mine Firestone; can mine Obsidian faster
Obsidian Axe - can chop Dark Wood
Obsidian Hoe - better chance to drop seeds; sometimes drops Prickly Ivy Seeds
Firestone Uses dark sticks
Firestone Ore - transforms into primed TNT when mined, unless you use Obsidian or Firestone Pickaxe Firestone - can be used as feul Firestone Block - gives max light level Firestone Sword - sets mobs on fire for 16 seconds (another 8 hearts of damage) Firestone Pickaxe - drops smelted items (Iron Ore -> Iron Ingot; Gold Ore -> Gold Bar; Cobblestone -> Stone; Firestone -> Gunpowder; Silver Ore -> Silver Ingot) Firestone Shovel - drops smelted items (Sand -> Glass; Clay -> Bricks)
Emerald
Emerald Ore - drops Emerald; gives some light Emerald (item) - can be used as decoration; gives some light Emerald Block - can be used as decoration and for storing Emeralds; gives max light level Emerald Dust - crafted from Emerald; used for repairing tools,
Silver Uses normal sticks
Silver Ore - mine it with iron or better pickaxe Silver Ingot - smelted from Silver Ore Silver Sword - deals 10 hearts of damage to undead mobs (Skeleton, Zombie, Zombie Pigman) and 4 hearts of damage to other mobs
Dark Wood You can leave it the way is it if you want.
Dark Wood - trees growing from the ceiling in the Nether; can be chopped by iron or better axe; don't burn Dark Leaves - drops sometimes Dark Saplings; don't burn Dark Sapling - can be planted on the ceiling; grows new dark trees Dark Plank - don't burn Dark Stick -
He also has prickly ivy but I dont think that is really necessary to change.
He is also looking for some people to do pixel art for him so if you have the time it would be great.
REALLY REALLY LOVE what you have done. And would appreciate it if you could do this. If not then I have no problem.
Pack has been updated for Beta 1.2!
I don't think I'll be editing any of the new stuff for this pack. Notch was kind enough to make a totally new texture for the new ore, so I didn't have to! 'Course, then he went and took out the ore block side and bottom textures...
I never thought this would be worth downloading, but seeing the new update being out I had no option for a custom texture pack other than this one. When I downloaded it and began to play with it, I was AMAZED! This texturepack is beautiful! It livens up the world, and gives it a more athmospheric look.
Thank you for your awesome upload! You're one hell of a good texturer.
I love it!
My only problem is, the chain-mail is, well, pink...
Kinda hard to be a manly rifle man (i use a mod for flint locks) when you are wearing a pink shirt...
Well, pink armor aside, this pack makes me feel all giddy inside when i see ore! (Even coal!) This pack lets me further appreciate my own architecture!
This pack is goddamn Awesome
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The double-edged sword cuts both ways, but the 100-blade sword-ball slashes the **** out of everyone
I love it!

I agree with you totally, this is a great simple texture pack designed perfectly. I applause!

Yes, they look much better now :biggrin.gif:
Your patronage is appreciated, everybody!
Keep up the good work :biggrin.gif:
