Yeeeah, I don't really use it. The netherack back to it works decent in the nether though, being seemless, but in the nether the rock part doesn't flow well and in the regular world the netherack looks less appealing.
Finding a nice balance for a glowstone texture is a pain.
This is the best glowstone that I have found so far.

that lightstone looks very promising, as do some of your edits to the ores. Gonna try a few of them out ingame and see what sticks :biggrin.gif:
as for the slime, I think their boxy nature makes the lowres skin fine, and I love the DQ slime anyway, but I think there are a few hd ones floating around
