Okay, I just got it, and I just found out that I have to delete all my other texture packs. But no worries, they're all inferior to Gerudoku either way. But say in the IMPROBABLE situation where I'd want to switch back to the default texture, what would I do? Delete Minecraft.jar or whatever it is? Or just press 'unpatch' on Xaus texture patcher?
Hmmm. Dunno really. Try unpatching - it can't do any harm, can it?
Now working on mod support and perhaps an alternate gui!
• Alternate GUI (as in a bit like the normal pack that has a box around the item areas)
• Mod support - starting wih 2x2 crafting grid mod
It's gonna be a long haul to get most of the major mods in the forum to be compatible with GERUDOKU. :biggrin.gif:
Looking forward to it! S'pose the gui could with a little tweaking for an alternative.
May i suggest changing the clay so it is brown, because that is the normal colour of clay anyway? i have done it for myself, but its a bit odd to see grey clay don't you think?
Clay can have a grey, blue, brown, or red tint to it...
It's a bit more eye catching in game when it has a blueish color though.
Hey tom, another neat little gift for you. I plan on doing a tutorial for this one too with a few neat tricks I discovered to help align them better.
Awesome, thanks!

I repainted that nice boat to look more like the texture we use :smile.gif:
Nice. I was torn about using that boat sprite or hozz's, but since his looks like the weird little cube boat model you actually see ingame, I decided to stick with that one.

Tried it, but there's already so many brown hues in this pack it made the stuff blend in too much. And like lilyo said, blueish-gray clay does occur naturally (especially around water, which is where this game usually places it). The red color of bricks comes from the firing process and the chemical components of the clay, not the clay's actual color, iirc
I think he's just asking for an alternate with the original TNT.
Speaking of which, here's my updated edits of Doku's pack. It keeps closer to the original colors Doku used and has none of Dusty's texture, which I don't think fit at all with this pack. I haven't had much time to work on it, so Glimmar's glowstone is a placeholder until I get around to edit that as well. I'm not sure how everything looks on other people's computers as my brightness and **** is a bit messed.
It's nice to see people like my 2 bookcases and lilypads haha. I'm gonna finish my paintings soon which will have other decorative bookcases and stuff like that.
Can you send me that world save where everything is all there? it looks awesome, i'd love to just log in, check out each block just straight in front of me or is it a private world? if it is i don't mind.
It's my edited version of Copperdomebodha's test world. I can post a download later. viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=102024

True, i was just suggesting something and i wasn't really thinking about the different colours and placing it near water, i was just thinking about plant pots and stuff because they are brownish colour, so i'm sorry, i made a stupid suggestion :tongue.gif: i'm gonna change mine, now that u mention it, alot of things are brown soo.... yeah :tongue.gif:
haha, guess i've built up a reputation for not taking feedback well. it's fine! be not afraid!! please post all of your suggestions, stupid or otherwise. it gives me a chance to explain my reasoning for using certain textures, and sometimes I do actually change my mind, believe it or not :wink.gif:
Did some more testing, and it looks like HD fonts have compatibility issues with modloader, and possibly some other mods. I've removed the font folder from the current version until this is resolved.
weird... the HD fonts look great too.
Also, "GeruDoku" isn't just an epic pack anymore...
And that's not even the best part of it... Huge hilly valleys...
what do you mean its not an epic pack anymore? it is awesome
He means that "GeruDoku" is an awesome seed to start a world with. :smile.gif:

Hey , I cant find any help with this texture pack . It's amazing offline but it glitches offline for me so i usally play it in the browser but ever time i have this pack installed it comes up with the 'downloading done' . Sorry if someone else has done this post but i started looking until i realised theres nearly 1500 posts ... Cheers !
I absolutely love this pack, but I have a few problems :\
Nothing that is supposed to be animated is animated. Portals, flowing water/lava, fire, it's all still images. The only things that are animated are things that aren't supposed to be animated, which are my pumpkins and my bricks:

You MUST install these textures using the latest version of xau's HD texture fix patcher or a lot of your **** will be broken! Don't **** this up kid!!
I have found a graphical bug.
The number of hinges and their position changes between a door that's open and a door that's closed. And a door that's open has hinges that... Don't match I guess. Here, look:
I suppose that can be easily fixed by removing one hinge on the top of the door and replacing it with two.
Well that's just how the side door textures are rendered. It takes half of the bottom texture of the door and slaps it on the side twice. Making 4 hinges would look kinda of weird, seeing how the top one will have to be on the edge of the door and cover the little design.
Hi everyone.
I have a problem installing this texture pack. First off, I REALLY tried to solve this on my own. Really, REALLY tried. But after a few hundred dead ends (and roughly an hour), I decided to ask everyone.
The GUI and items keep messing up. Blocks and other textures seem work perfectly, except perhaps Torches.
I followed every step, used the Xau's Texture Patcher v 1.1.12_02 (latest release at the time of writing). I also deleted the .bin and redownloaded Minecraft, to no avail.
It's like additional pixels appear where transparent ones should be (I checked in Photoshop and those pixels really don't exist, so the files aren't corrupt or anything). It's noteworthy that I had the exact same problem with other texture packs that changed items and GUI.
Hopefully these screeshots will be able to demonstrate what happens (notice how it seems to affect the 3D representation of tools as well - besides how screwed-up the HP and Armor bar look):
(I'll post the direct URL of the images in case I screw up the posting x_x)

while it's different for all graphics cards, you can turn it off on any. just look up how to turn it off on your graphics card.
