in the alternate texture, there is a new dirt and grass i really like, above the jack o lanterns and the cacti, can you finish it? you need to make the completely dirt block cause i really like it and want to use it thanks
That's the texture from the very first version of Doku's pack. I'm pretty sure he didn't change the dirt since then.
nice alternatives i swapped at least 5 ,but i would like to swap for your ores but i need a smooth stone block that will match the color of yours.Could you plz make one?

For me it seems that BetterLight/BetterGrass and Wild Grass aren't compatible. The screen goes black whenever I try to use them together. Here's what I do:
1. I download MrMMods v1.8.
2. I extract it with 7-Zip.
3. I replace mmcolors.png in mods > SimpleMap with the one in the MrMMods thread.
4. I drag mods into .minecraft
5. I open MrMPatcher, check Better Light and Better Grass, and patch.
6. I download repkam09's Wild Grass patch.
7. I extract it with 7-Zip.
8. I open minecraft.jar with 7-Zip File Manager.
9. I drag BetterGrass.class, bm.class, he.class, og.class, pi.class, and terrain.png into minecraft.jar

.
Isnt it just the original smooth stone tex from Doku's pack? Gerudoku is brighter and more contrast just go to DOKU's thread to get the original.

I install them after running mrmpatcher, if that helps.
The problem could just be that you're not copying the wildGrass folder from gerudoku.zip into minecraft.jar, if you're using the modloader version. That folder isn't copied in automatically when you install the textures using xau's patcher, and if it isn't present in minecraft.jar after installing wildgrass, the client will definitely blackscreen on load.
Precious materials sprouting out of the ground! You should count yourself lucky ;-)
Looks like the textures have overwritten one of the flower or mushroom textures in the terrain.png file, however, don't quote me on this - the bug could be anything.

Just in case anyone else is having any similar issues that I had. I was trying to load texture packs using TFC Mod Manager (I wasn't quite sure if it was really designed for that), and it worked just fine when I wanted to quickly switch from texture pack to texture pack. But I unchecked it, ran Minecraft (so it was at it's default textures), and then ran the mcpatcher and it's running just fine. Thanks guys. : )

I didn't bother pasting the completely dirt version because its the exact same, though looking at it now I notice the dirt IS a bit darker, i'll past it in if you want. Oh and it didn't come with a side snow texture, sadly.
oh thats ok, but doing the full dirt bit would be nice if you could please. maybe i could do a little tint of white on the top with paint! hehe i'm no editor. i had apeture but i didn't understand it one bit
So yeah if you could do the full dirt that would be nice, thanks tyken keep it up
As I said before, Tyken did not make that texture... Doku did. The dirt is an old version of the current dirt, so it doesn't look as good. I don't know why you'd want it. http://www.mediafire.com/file/x3xw2gaiw ... KU_RPG.rar

It's in the current download, at the top of this page. Don't use the file in the OP, it hasn't been updated. This is the one you want: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12883402/GERUDOKU%20TEST.zip
You have to put in everything after the watch?v=
So you'd put it in like
Then it comes out like this:

Edit:A lapis ore if you don't mind

here are the old doku terrain.pngs with the darker/browner smoothstone you can grab from http://i.imgur.com/CjNGT.png

I'll look into desaturating the brownish alt ores to gray soon, it'll take some time though

There is no META-INF for some reason.

edit:NvM read the next post after yours lol.

Suggestions? *meek smile*

You patched correctly, but under mods and texture packs you don't have default selected. select default and it should work fine.
Thanks.
