I noticed something strange while messing around with the furnace/dispenser texture not lining up with the top.
If you look there, one is fine while the exact same one next to it is off by about one. I think its a problem on notches end, not yours.
Also pumpkins are backwards, though I think that's on his end, too.
Yeah, robfaie noticed this too when he was taking screenshots a few pages back. The problem was actually that I forgot to invert the "grooves" on two sides of the furnace top to account for rotation.
The fix was easy, though it makes the L-shaped bricks on top look very slightly off-kilter if you look at it a certain way... but I'm okay with that (would rather that the bricks line up than make everything 100% symmetrical). I'll include the corrected texture in the next (final!!) build
Pumpkins aren't "backwards", their top texture just always points in one direction (north?) regardless of where the sides are oriented
Also, good news for some: I found a much more suitable texture to use for the dark/pine wood bark, so that'll be in the big release tonight or tomorrow as well :biggrin.gif:
Install the wildgrass mod however its instructions tell you to. Then copy the wildGrass folder (that you copied out of gerudoku.zip) INTO your minecraft.jar. If you don't know what minecraft.jar is or how to copy files into it, try asking your best friend, google

thank you for the help and srry for the trouble.
no worries, I'll try to include those instructions in the OP since I expect the same kind of questions in the future
I wish it was easier to install the wildgrass textures, but since it's using modloader now it pretty much has to be a separate step from installing the texture pack. I'm bugging xau to make his patcher copy the wildgrass folder in along with the rest of the texture pack files when installing, but I kind of doubt he'll be willing to do it.
Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong with the texture pack for the grass to have transparent sides? I patched in your test version and the same thing happened as happened with the version I used. The old version without wool works, but the wool doesn't (duh). Wool with the test version doesn't work either. :sad.gif:

Please help me! This is supremely urgent...
You didn't unzip the "alt biome sidegrass" file inside gerudoku.zip, did you? Could you post a screenshot of what it looks like?
I went around grabbing tons of other alternate doku textures and put them all on one png.
I also plan on doing an installation video for you(a new one) and a tutorial on how to swap textures. (so you can just include the alternate png)
That is a hell of a favor! I've been meaning to do exactly that, but never got around to it. Will definitely be including this in the final 1.2 release. Thanks!

Not a problem, I got tired of sifting through various other packs just to find one texture I wanted as well. If you find anymore send me them and i'll do them up. Also some of the doors were edited by me and my friend(one of the wood and irons)
I think i've gotten all the "doku" style textures, though I would love to find more to add to it, as well as a few other textures that may fit as well.

i know this isnt a screenshot of the sides, but wouldnt it make more sense to make the top be 4 square clocks instead of how it is not, because if you look at the sides of the furnace it has a groove in the middle but not one on the top
Alright, so I'm using Gerudoku test (as a test), and this is what I see:
The sides of the grass are transparent, the trunks on the trees are still brown colored - and what's more. The sheep aren't asking me questions!! :sad.gif:
No!
W-what!? I hope this isn't final.
What have you done to the sheep!? And the diamond tools, gold's not the best diamond is!
Argh! Sheep looked so cool with the cocked eyebrow face!
Also, fantastic work btw.
BUT everything used to be perfect!!!
I seriously hope this isn't final even though you said it was.
Basically, i'm hoping that your keeping old sheep and using dusty's tools
you'll be happy to hear that after testing a bit more, I decided to go back to the old sheep :wink.gif:
I've already explained my reasoning for editing the gold & diamond weapons, they won't be changing. Several people here have posted alternate item.pngs that use the more standard dusty set, though, so feel free to grab one of those (or edit your own)

i saw that you packaged your pack with an alternate version for sidegrass fix (with wild grass still)
Then i found out that sidegrass fix doesn't work with wildgrass...
Not your fault, I'm just saying that it is a shame...
also would it be possible to include more sprites for extended farming?
Yeah, I included that with the slim hope that wildgrass and sidegrass will eventually be compatible
I'm unlikely to include much else in the way of mod-specific sprites because I don't want this to get too bloated, and I don't use any mods that add extra items/blocks anyway. Your best bet would be to pull the appropriate sprites from Runecraft or whatever and copy them into the pack yourself.

I tried reading this three times and only got more confused, so no, I don't think whatever the hell you're suggesting would make more (any) sense!!

You're using the "alt biome sidegrass" terrain.png for some reason. Don't do that! (unless you are using the sidegrass mod of course.) Unzip gerudoku.zip, delete the zip, open the gerudoku folder, unzip "alt reset defaults.zip", overwrite if prompted, zip the gerudoku folder contents back up, use the new gerudoku.zip to install. Just to be safe, copy the fixed gerudoku.zip into your texturepacks folder too.

Anyone help me fix the thing with HD patcher?
If you can't be bothered to read a few pages back and find the updated test build of gerudoku I posted, just wait a few hours until I update the OP with the final release. Then you can get your files and installation instructions all in one place with minimum reading required :wink.gif:
I would appreciate it if someone made a version of the one on the first page but added the Mo' Creatures Mod animals in HD. otherwise, the texture pack won't work. It's dissappointing.

Creepers are just beings with volatile emotions. They try to hug you and upon realizing they don't have arms, their volatile emotions cause them to explode.

The latest version (not the one on the first page, that's outdated) absolutely does work with mo'creatures, I'm using both right now. If you install both the mod and the texture pack correctly, you shouldn't have any trouble.
I figure what I'm suggesting is hard, but I was wondering if it would be possible for you to do something like Painterly has, where you can customize your pack before download. I think it's a WONDERFUL idea, and it would help the people who are technologically challenged/lazy like me and don't want to go digging through files to find the exact item we want. You would be even more godly if you did that Tombones.
Other than that, (and thats not even a complaint. lol) I absolutely LOVE the pack! Keep up the good work!!

Not sure if this is a notch problem, or texture problem :|
How do you mean "the wrong way round"? In the inventory icon? Could you post a screenshot?
edit: apparently it's a bug that was introduced in 1.2. Nothing I can do, sorry!
