It would appear that the fireballs that get shot from ghast don't work, but it might just be because I'm on a multiplayer server. I'll try and get to the nether in single player and see.
Did some work on the items.png for my own use, turned out propar, so thought I'd share
DISCLAIMER: There might be some errors, I didn't do everything pixel-perfect. Also, everything shown is originally from Gerudoku/Dusty/Hooz.
also, there is a black line beneath the bread, which I currently cannot remove due to lack of editing software on this computer.
Changes:
Removed the ornated diamond and replaced with old gold tools
Replaced Gravel
Replaced Pork and Cooked Pork
Replaced Slime Ball
Replaced Fishing Rod
Replaced Bread
Replaced Cake
Replaced Ink Sac
Replaced Wooden Pickaxe
Made diamond toolheads more fancy-looking
To be honest, I'm not so fond about the dye icons in the items.png. They don't look so unique from eachother, since most of them are on pieces of cloth (?) and are the same icons, only with different colors. I'd switch them around with Danscottbrown's, but I'm too lazy.
Just my input there, but otherwise, it's a fantastic texture pack! You get better with every release.
I went back and forth on those, but eventually I decided that the dyes really shouldn't look unique. Once you craft them from their component materials (bones, roses, etc) you've essentially rendered them down into powder/paste. Think of them like paints on a canvas. At that point you don't need to see the mortar and pestle, just the blobs of color you get out of it (the cloth backing is there so you don't get your hands dirty :wink.gif:
The only dyes with unique shapes are ones that have natural sources and aren't ground up (inksacs, coco beans, lapis lazuli). No idea how you're supposed to dye cloth with a rock (rubbing really hard??) but that's how it works in game, so that's how it's represented in the items.
Now that you mentioned it, I guess that'd make sense.
By the way, artists use charcoal on some works of art, so you could probably dye it with that. I'm not sure, I'm not Leonardo Da Vinci. :tongue.gif:
Sorry, looks like it's never coming now. I haven't posted in this forum for weeks and I definitely haven't posted updated versions on the past several pages.
No more official updates from Tombones?
Bummer to hear...I know the community can keep it going just as you kept Doku's going...but it's' never quite the same.
None the less thanks for the texture pack. Used it quite alot.
EDIT: Feel free to correct me if I read something wrong btw...wouldn't mind being wrong in this case.

I've only recently joined this forum, but i absolutely love Gerudoku. I saw the Gerudoku test recently, but suddenly wasn't a fan of the ore blocks.
So I decided to spice things up a little! Lapis Lazuli ore blocks are now quite different from other ore blocks... Also added more contrast between wools. I also added a different (bottom?) view for ore blocks (excluding lapis). I changed glowstone back to normal, because this is mostly just my personal preference.
Just save the image to your computer, go to your Gerudoku test folder, and replace the old one with this one. Than zip it back up.
I also edited the items to be more true to the old Gerudoku.
I changed the apples back: but perhaps most notably, I changed the clock into a sort of wristwatch-thingy. There are a few alternatives that have black straps, and silver faces. I hope it works. I'm just an amateur/newbie at this sort of stuff anyway.
Do the same as the terrain.png to get it in game.
i alays look for texture packs and this is the best one ive seen yet .the only problem is that theres no dyes and colored whool so please update the texture pack
Is anyone else having the transparent grass problem? Or did I do something with the terrain.png that I wasn't supposed to?
Well if you edited in M$ Paint, you did something wrong. M$ Paint doesn't support transparency at all, even if you didn't touch the glass in it, when you saved it, it was saved as white.
Naw, I used photoshop. Also, that still doesn't explain why the grass is transparent. If the bg changed to white, all the transparent stuff would change to white too.
I have to say I love this pack. The only thing I don't like is your Sandstone texture. I much prefer the one Tyken has in his pack. That's the only thing I would really want changed though. Is there anyway you could do that? Or at the very least explain to me how to do it my self?

Boy do I feel sheepish.
Good! That's what I get for skimming and not reading fully. It coulda been real!
So, I'm having a little trouble here. I can only install the Gerudoku texture pack OR the Mo' Creatures mod. If I install the texture pack, it removes the creatures mod. If I reinstall the creatures mod (manually or with TFC), it either doesn't work or removes the texture pack.
Is anyone else having this problem? Better yet, does anyone know how to fix it?

Curse Premiumalso with the furnaces it's the north and east edges. I did some testing placing them in different directions.

Anyone recommend a good one for me?
