really I like this pack but the textureless trees threw me for a [email protected][email protected]
Tombones hasn't updated the texture pack yet. But there are some fan-made versions that put in the missing things. Also in the future, read through the posts a little before you post. This has already been discussed.
Danscottbrown (love your work, btw), I wanted to ask you something about your texture pack. I downloaded your texture pack(it was a few versions ago. 1.4.2, if I'm correct), and I'm seeing something that always catches my eye ingame.
Here's a screenshot:
If you can see, the color of dirt with and without grass is different. I'm not sure if it's something to do with the terrain.png (looked at it, I don't see any difference) or some mods I've been using, but it looks very unnatural.
I'm using Better Light, and Mo' Creatures. Thats about it. Any help?
Hmm, I'm not sure if that's a biome problem or not. But I haven't come across anything like that. My best guess is that it could be BetterLight that is causing the problem, try it with that mod turned off.

man you know this has been buging me, any of you know where the file for the new wool "on sheep" is stored? or is it linked directly to the terrain.png file? I want to reskin it so it looks more "Doku'esk" but cant locate the file :/ as for now this is what I get

DONT USE BETTERLIGHT WITHOUT BETTERGRASS
i see these pepole asking and asking why do they have green dirt on sides.... and they dont read the thread, witch says they dont work without each other.

The wool ON the sheep is coloured in the code, the sheep wool .png is just overlayed with the colours.
Shorter explanation: one naked sheep .ong, one sheep wool .png, colours added in the code.

thanks, Im not a programer so fore warning "these questions are probly going to be retarded" so the color is overlayed on the wool.png from the programed code in the .ong ? is there a way to adjust the color so its not so dark, or would that involve allot of fussing with the code?

Maybe you didn't use the Patcher for it? I don't know, seems like an unsolved problem for some people.
A quick video here showing off a few textures, sorry about the quality/darkness, first time recording minecraft.
It doesn't show everything, it is up to date with the cloth, dispensers, etc.
Is this pack going to add the new little items to the game, like a cake bloc, lapis lazuli, sugar, and the dye items? They are all invisible to me, except the cake block which is a neutral brown block. A very ugly block.
I want to say that I love this pack, and think it is, as the kids I believe are saying these days, "the ****." But without a properly done cake block... well, my life feels void...
