aahhhhh!!! this texture pack is soooo cool! you just need to update it :biggrin.gif:
oh, and one question... I've seen this asked alot, but I still can't seem to get this sorted out... there is no animation for the water, lava, and sometimes even the fire... it only seems to work when I test minecraft through that special patcher
1. Download the texture pack above.
2. Download the latest version of Xau's HD texture fix patcher.
3. Run the patcher (make sure the Minecraft client isn't running).
4. Click "Browse" next to "Texture Pack" and double-click the pack you wish to install.
5. Under "Options", make sure that everything is checked.
6. Click "Patch".
7. Close any of the windows you opened during this installation.
8. Run the Minecraft client. The texture pack should now be correctly installed with working animated water/lava/fire and no graphical glitches.
28/01/11 04:29 GMT (version 1.4.4)
[*:3tpy0i22]Updated handles on buckets and changed some tools (credit to dustyshouri, just love his work).
[*:3tpy0i22]trap.png fixed and updated.
[*:3tpy0i22]Switched the light blue dye and cyan dye in items.png.
[*:3tpy0i22]Changed the music note in particles.png so that the whole of it changes colour.
[*:3tpy0i22]Changed the design of the record player and note block.
[*:3tpy0i22]There was a small pixel error with trap.png, updated the image on this post and is fixed in 1.4.3 as of 28/01/11 03:03 GMT.
[*:3tpy0i22]Only an items.png and items_1.png edit. Added some new dye icons and diamond pickaxe from (once again) dustyshouri. Some dyes were missing, so I just edited the colours.
[*:3tpy0i22]I'm trying my best to keep you guys updated with the best until tombones has an updated release, hence all the updates. (Sorry to those that download it and then a few hours later see an update)
[*:3tpy0i22]Noticed a tiny error with some transparency on items - fixed.
[*:3tpy0i22]Had problems fixing it, but it should be fine now.
[*:3tpy0i22]Removed old versions of items.png and items_1.png
[*:3tpy0i22]Sorry about the messy updates, but ty for downloading :3
Seems to be a problem with 1.3.1 - working on it (working download is above)
Looks like it's a problem with the updated dyes. I can't seem to remove the pixels around the icons and get it to work :/
20/01/11 22:29 GMT (version 1.3)
[*:3tpy0i22]Added 3 new items. Bone, Diamond Axe, Diamond Shovel. Credit to dustyshouri.
[*:3tpy0i22]Kept the old versions of items in the pack just for ease of access.
[*:3tpy0i22]Tidied up terrain.png and terrainflowers.png, removed a few blocks.
[*:3tpy0i22]Changed the Lapis Lazuli ore block. Credit to KingPhantom for the cut/lighter version.
[*:3tpy0i22]Changed layout of items.png, alternate icons at bottom right of image.
[*:3tpy0i22]Used two different dye icon collections for more choice (items.png and items_1.png).
Credits:
General GeruDoku credits
ShadDoku for multiple terrain blocks.
Hozz for the green and gold record discs.
SharQueDo for an updated particles.png
Visigoth for dyes in items_1.png
KingPhantom for Lapis Lazuli ore block.
dustyshouri for most of the items.
Myself for the trap.png and updated terrainflower.png (didn't check other packs for them :SSSS:)
Shiny_ for the record player top.
*and credits due anywhere I missed some
the update will probably not happen until this weekend because I had a look around and there's a lot more I want to do with it than the evening hours will allow. Watch for it saturday night. In the meantime the other (very nice) temporary sets people have been making should tide you over.
Aside from adding all the new textures, the next version will include a new method of installing some of the more popular "alternate" texture sets (flowered grass/trees, biome color shading, ore blocks, etc) which should be slightly easier than carefully renaming a bunch of different files. I'M SO EXCITED

great! me too!
using my temporary set. it's no problem to wait untill next week. im happy to get it :biggrin.gif:
I accept no substitutes. And created an account to say how amazing this texture pack is. Tombones, you have excellent taste in developing this pack, pulling the best of the best. Can't wait for the update.
First of all, Great Texture Pack! Love it! I did have a question though...After installing the pack, I've been cruising around on single player (admiring the Tex Pack)...and from time to time, my screen goes black and MC stops (responding). Pretty much locks up and I have to do a 'Task Manager' to get out...Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I'm using the MCPatcher and patching at 32x32 and 64x64....both still cause the problem. Suggestions? Thanks...and great job on the pack, again.
:biggrin.gif:
I edited the terrain.png to include the latest blocks
It includes my custom textures, so if you don't like a texture... edit it!

If you get the "Java SE Binary is not responding" message, then it was the same problem I had. But it had nothing to do with the texture, but the version of Java I had. I have a Window 7 64bit system and the only version of Java you can download for windows is solely for 32 bit systems (which mean Java has to do twice the work and so crashes frequently.)
Complain to Java. I know I have.
(someone on the forum has posted a link to a Java Like program for a windows 7 64 system, since I installed it, I've had no crashes. But it makes me nervous having a file of unknown origin on my computer. Use at your own risk I guess.)
@tombones: not sure if you've got anything planned for the buckets, but you should consider dustyshouri's/my handle addition. His work is awesome, but you already know that :wink.gif:

hmmm... i used the normal gerudoku cloths... i will test it.
@Visigoth: i added you to the credits. thanks for the awesome new items. they are the best so far.
BETA 1.3.1+ is now located in its own thread.

Okay, I've done as most have, and mixed and matched a bunch of icons and textures.

most texture sets didn't notice that. i changed your texture with the green "diamond" on the side to a texture, thats symetric: viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=77619&start=480#p2102067
in my pack? i have tested it. it works all.
