sometimes I think it'd be bett if this thread got locked so only a handful of people (tomstone, tyken, and the like) could post. things would move nice and smooth. issues would be worked out and the pack would be updated in due time.
Tyken, your video appears to be for windows only. I have never gotten mac version of minecraft to open the texture pack folder, but I will try and insert it manually with the converter you were using, and let you know. Otherwise Xau still works well enough.
EDIT: It does work for Mac. It didn't work the first time simply because I was using zombe's mods, but I did a fresh install and it worked fine. The texture pack folder for mac can be found at ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/texturepacks ~ being home folder for those who aren't unix savvy.
Hey, when i loaded zedas's gerodoku, everything works until i need to craft items or for example, move paintings to different places, the game freezes? why?

You need to use the latest beta patcher. Look back a few pages; I'm sure you'll find a link to it. I would post it myself, but I'm tired of posting it in support of this same question over and over.
Here is my variant of the GERUDOKU pack http://www.mediafire.com/?ajw48ouefojxjwo It IS updated for 1.5_01 for those who are too busy, lazy, or witless to do it themselves. It is a mixture of new and old with a lot of tweaking of the items and terrain textures to my liking. I like to keep my pack fairly close to the feel of an oldschool RPG, so that's the theme of things. The kz.png (art file) is compatible with the Extreme Art mod, hopefully it gets updated again.

In re: zedas, which btw, fantastic work i think you strike the proper balance between old-school rpg building off of the core gerudoku/doku pack.
I may just be stupid, but is there a way i can fix this? Game also crashes whenever i try to put down a cart on tracks...Appreciate any help I can get from anybody. Kind of feel like i'm playing in a ransom note kind of world now
For troubleshooting purposes, I am only using this in conjunction with Too Many Items, and using minecrafter 1.2.4 on osx
Great news for everyone who absolutely despises my texture pack! I have appended an entirely new version which is just the old tombones textures + the 1.5_01 updates I put out for my version! Head on down to the bottom of page 44 if you want to try it/give it a go. :smile.gif: Link.

I didnt mean any offence at all actually. But let this go, dont feel like arguing, it seems useless and a waste of time.

when i download the gerudoku faithful
the only thing wrong is when putting redstone on the floor it goes brown like the snow cover but brown.
If you are refering to the extra books on the items.png they are alternates and cannot all be used at the same time. You can only have one.
That's is the 1.5 biome fix.
