I did but it's still happening, not sure why but I'll mess with it some other time. I'm curious to see if there are really pigs with wings and I'm too excited about the game right now to care too much lol
At 1:18 I do go into the folder and pick it but you can't tell cause it only shows the game not my folders, I dunno how to have it go from in game frames to your desktop lol (Fraps)
You'll have to check with Xau on that one. In theory the current version should work fine as long as you uncheck "custom water" and "custom lava" before patching.
I don't know if there are any new textures with the update (except for capes ಠ_ಠ) but it doesn't sound like there should be anything major. If I find out more, I'll post it here.
FYI, Xau just released a new version of the HD fix patcher that should make everything work again: viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=46173
Sounds like this version should be a lot more reliable and forward-compatible too, which is nice.
A warning though, I haven't tried it myself yet because I'm waiting for a couple other mods to update and for Notch to fix whatever dumbass thing he broke this time to ruin framerates and make the game nigh unplayable
I finally gave in and got this pack after seeing the latest updates in Tyken132's latest video. love the texture pack, It's a good break from painterly. also you world is amazing, I love the design.
Has anyone tried the new patcher? I really miss the texture pack as it almost makes it an entirely different game and I'm tired of staring at the 16 already >_< I know it's horrible of me and it's not what the game is about but I cannot believe how badly I miss it. I don't want to try this out as the last patcher actually downgraded my game back to Alpha and I had to erase everything and start over...
Can you please post a link to Mrm's patcher. Search function is bogged down because of all the activity due to beta. Also the grass on the side of the dirt thing isnt working.

Anyone else not getting the new pictures? I patched with the lastest texture pack and the pictures are the same as the pre-beta ones.
Try putting the latest version of gerudoku.zip in your /.minecraft/texturepacks folder, overwriting the old one. Minecraft might still be pulling the textures from the previous version if you haven't updated it in the folder
Hey this texture pack is awesome, but, how did you get the grass to look like that? My grass doesn't go all the way down the side of the block.
Is it another texture pack/mod? Or is mine just messed up?
Sorry, thought I replied to this earlier.. the mod in the picture is bettergrass, along with betterlight, both of which you can get from the mrmmods patcher here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=55700
I really appreciate the support you all are giving, it makes all the effort worthwhile. Unless something comes up, I probably won't update again until notch adds some new textures that need patching, so hopefully the current version suits you for a while :smile.gif:
For those asking to try my world from the video, I'm going to make my own little adventure tour vid when I get home after xmas and will release the save at that time. Try to survive until then :wink.gif:
Wow, that's really nice work. I first was kinda "This pack is okay, not as good as the original", but then as time went by, I grew by this pack and I really love it now. That's a epic world you have there, BTW, I've seen Tyken's walk through., He was also the one who linked me to this texture pack.
I'm having a problem where water and lava both do not animate. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. When I run the patch on the texture pack I have all the boxes checked like the instructions say yet it wont animate.
It sounds like you either don't have the latest version of the patcher, or your minecraft jars have been jacked up, or some combination of the two. Try this:
- Run the patcher but DON'T PATCH YET, just click the "Minecraft Folder" button (or just navigate to your /.minecraft/ folder if you already know how)
- delete the "bin" folder
- run minecraft.exe and let it redownload everything
- close minecraft.exe and any other windows you opened, including the patcher (just to be safe)
- Run the patcher. The custom water and custom lava options should be selectable. Click Patch. Close the patcher after it's successful.
- Run minecraft and ensure it shows the version number as the latest (1.1_02 I think). The textures should be correctly installed with working animated water/lava!
If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll see if I can figure something else out.
Hi i have one request. Im not pretty good with this *cough* i might just be lazy but could someone make a version of terrain.png with biome compatible grass and leaves and if that someone could also make it so it works with this http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=107720 PLEASE?
