No it doesn't I have updated gerudoku and it works perfectly with biome specific grass.
The thing your thinking of is deleting the grasscolour.png form minecraft.jar it self. No just delete it from your texture pack. That's what I did to mine and it works perfectly. I have not heard a complaint yet about non biome specific grass.
Another question is. Did you change your texture pack to a different top of the grass??? Like mine. Because you set up the side of the grass to be biome specific but not the top the top of you grass will always be messed up. Unless you convert the top to grayscale.
Well... I've figured it out. The reason sidegrass is gray is because Notch made it so the biome sidegrass is only used when the graphics are on fancy. That's the only way to fix it. If you have FPS issues on fancy, you might want to consider installing an officially/unofficially updated version of Optimine.
BTW, I've released another version of my pack. DL is on page 44. Includes new grasscolor.png - the power and detector rails are cleaner as well.
All I want is for Netherrack to not look like water, and for bricks to look like bricks. Oh yeah, and for water to move without using the patcher, which you can't use if you don't play minecraft as a downloaded thing.

Well... I've figured it out. The reason sidegrass is gray is because Notch made it so the biome sidegrass is only used when the graphics are on fancy. That's the only way to fix it. If you have FPS issues on fancy, you might want to consider installing an officially/unofficially updated version of Optimine.

I do not get grey sidegrass on fast graphics, I do get them on fancy though, and I haven't got the slightest idea of what might be wrong. I want to run with fancy graphics. If nothing else just to be able to hear the rain sound :smile.gif:
cant the creator of this pack just do this, i mean everything is just getting confusing and mixed up, i really need this pack for something me and my friends are trying to do, and 1.5 ruined everything, and i'm asking for this guy to quickly remake this, because his fans really like it, i mean this is a sick ass texture pack am i right!

That being said..you can just update it yourself, take one of the update texture packs and just edit in the textures you like best. i have multiple videos showing how to do it yourself, there is even a customizer(which is slightly outdate) that can do most of it for you.

Tyken was being nice... tombones has a lot of real life stuff to do. Stop being lazy and do it yourself if you don't like any of the alternative packs.
What is up with everyone, i was just asking, and i watch tykens vids all the time, they're very helpful. But this is all getting very stupid and out of hand, i regret jumping in if everyone jumps to a conclusion and starts pushing someone around. GET A HOLD OF YOURSELVES!
I've tried doing this myself, and it didnt work, all my stuff was lost and i gave up, so i sent that, i was techinacally saying, " why cant he remake it." and not in an offending way.

Jesus did not create this pack, doku did. Good, decent folks like tombones, Tyken132 & Richasackboy have maintained it since doku discontinued it.
Also, your request sounds more like a demand; if you're in such a rush, simply update the pack yourself...
