hi gerudoku peeps/whoever, do u think u could change signs slightly, so that text can be read on them? coz atm i find it difficult, coz it is very dark already. just a suggestion tho :smile.gif:
There is an alternate sign texture called signb.png inside the item folder that has a white background for text. Rename it to sign.png before you install the texture pack.
I know this has been probably said alot of times, but when is this going to be compatible with 1.4_01? The non-moving water, glitched pumpkins and broken clocks are somewhat annoying.
?! none of those things are affected by the 1.4 patch? so your installing it incorectly :]
How am I installing it incorrectly? I've done it the same way I've been doing it:
Save to Desktop
Open Minecraft
Open folder
Drag into folder
Done.
I've also patched it as well, but it does nothing. (XAU's patcher if your curious)

anything higher than 16x will not work this way, this texture pack is 32x ... you must download the patcher in order for the bugs you described to go away. also VERY IMPORTANT: follow instructions
I'm still working on it, very very slowly though, don't have much time atm to be honest.
Waiting for tombones to make a real update for 1.4 and then I'll finish the terrain generator.
I have some friends that really don't take this texturepack seriously b/c of the thing with the pumkins. Idk why you put that in there but wuteva still smexy tp.
Instructions for installing ANY texture pack 32x or larger:
Step 1: Download texture pack of choice
Step 2: goto this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=252531
Step 3: download program
Step 4: execute (or run) program
Step 5: Click Patch
Step 6: Close program
Step 7: Run minecraft
Step 8: Select Mod and Texture pack option from minecraft
Step 9: select Open texture pack folder
Step 10: Copy downloaded texture pack into folder then close
*Step 11: Select new texture pack then chose done.
Step 12: Enjoy minecraft.
Step 13: ???
Step 14: Profit!
*Please note, if your pack does not appear after you copy it into the folder, please close minecraft and restart it. If that fails, please make sure your texture pack is in Zip format and that it is zipped properly. Please see texture pack thread for more details. (Gerudoku is zipped properly)
Surprisingly this works on all forms of PCs. This includes winblows, macintrashes, and linux.
Please ignore sarcasm, and just follow the steps above.
Well I did all the steps then I go onto Minecraft, then onto texture packs and mods and it isnt there, only my default is there
So you opened the texture pack folder from minecraft, copied your texture pack to it. closed the folder, and no texture pack? restart minecraft then it should show up. If it doesn't problem with texture pack.
Then I have no idea. You must have a problem with either minecraft or the pack. Putting the pack into the correct mod and texture folder of minecraft works even if you don't patch. Patching fixes the weird gold block, brick pumpkin problem..
So you opened the texture pack folder from minecraft, copied your texture pack to it. closed the folder, and no texture pack? restart minecraft then it should show up. If it doesn't problem with texture pack.
Still doesn't work...
OMG PEOPLE HELP THIS GUY! IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW MACS WORK THEN DONT CONFUSE HIM.
Unfortunately due to mac-specific issues with the coding of the open texture folder button it doesn't work on macs.
But that's okay! Instead to go there manually go to
Mac HD -> Users -> *yournamehere* -> Library -> Application Support -> minecraft -> texturepacks
and put a zip of the texture pack in there. if this zip doesnt work, try
go into the gerudoku folder (unzipped)
highlight (command + a) all the items in it and then right click -> compress items
Then drag that zip into the texture pack folder.
Profit.
