Bit of a problem, when i tried this map it seems everything about it was in a line really, and buildings rooms rails where cut off to a drop and then everything was normal. Is the map broken or something?
Of course it's not normal. FUDGING Tombones made it. I've tried and failed to make an awesome world like his.
Ok I'm back. And I've made some of my own changes to the terrain files. In my opinion, this looks far closer to the original Doku texture pack. Especially the water :smile.gif:
All I've done is change the contrast and brightness levels. The original doku texture pack was never vibrant and bright, it was always dark and a little scary. Especially if you turn on the fog. Gerodoku is a great pack, but the brightness is my only complaint. So I'll be playing with my modified version from now on :smile.gif:

And here is a bonus image with fog on. Exploring the forest is much creepier and mysterious with the darker textures :smile.gif:

I'd have to agree, I don't like the brighter dirt for example, just because it distracts your attention when exploring, the darker one is just perfect! And I never thought about water, but I was slowly starting to hate it, so good thing you experimented, I have some ideas on mixing. :smile.gif:
P.S. No one here seems to recognize your outstanding work on Fallout series, but I do, and I could say that I'm a fan too, so the remaining thing to say, is : "Keep up the great work!" :smile.gif:
Does anyone know if theres a problem with the texture pack on mac since the 1.4 update? Every time I try patching it, it dosent change anything and it dosent work in the textures folder. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I don't know.. But it's something about the Dirt and Grass that attracts me ... >.<
If you like these, but would rather have your tamed wolves with collars instead of battle armor, this is the texture for you.
