you just load of the patcher and tick the texture pack box and the flowing water and other things boxes. you dont need to load the texture pack.
make sure you downloaded the new MCPatcher 2.0 beta3 first for these instructions to work properly. found here: viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=252531
Also i suggest you do a fresh reinstall of minecraft first by opening the minecraft launcher, going to options clicking force update, then log in and exit the game.
Also make sure the texture pack is in a zip format and when you open the zip file the terrain.png is in the first folder. (some texture packs come in rar format or have an additional folder before your terrain.png file) Note: Though this does affect the default texture pack selector I'm not sure if the mcpatcher is affected and haven't tested it. After testing, yes this needs to be done. If it is in rar format it wont show up at all on the list, and if the archive file is not ordered properly the textures will not work either.
Give him some rest guys, he doesn't have much time working on this. Just use the other customized GERUDOKU packs.

Also, just a heads up- the next few weeks (through the end of April really) are shaping up to be insanely busy both at work and on weekends, so don't expect a whole lot of action from me this month. I'll still keep up with the bare minimum of texture updates as they happen, but not much beyond that. So keep those custom packs coming, I guess :"D

I'm asking you, as a friend... Just...put an end to me.
This texture pack steals some GUI and some mob skins off JohnSmith...
That's why it's a compilation pack. Tombones has never taken credit for creating textures in his pack. He should be credited for compiling them though because thousands of users have downloaded this pack, thus giving exposure to the originals like doku's RPG, JohnSmith's texture pack etc.
This is going to be angry wolf... normal wolf and tamed wolf yet to come. To go with the fantasy theme... tamed wolf is going to have armor instead of a collar.

Yo dawg I heard you like playing Portal so now you can play Portal while playing Minecraft while going to Hell.

Looks promising, would you mind posting some screens when you finish?
And I for some reason completely abandoned this thread.
I've really not been up to any good lately, I'm simply waiting for Doku to give me a red/green light on some things. Done some other image editing to get more used to Paint.net, but no textures.
Bit of a problem, when i tried this map it seems everything about it was in a line really, and buildings rooms rails where cut off to a drop and then everything was normal. Is the map broken or something?

Uh...? Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Loving Gerudoku I just installed it today. But one thing that is bothering me is the water - looking at vast bodies of water the pattern seems to pixelate a lot. It just doesn't tile too well.
This is a picture of my world back in Alpha 1.1.2 using one of the versions of Doku's RPG pack. I always prefered this darker water to the bright textured one that can be found in other versions and also in Gerudoku.
It has the same pattern, just that it's a lot more transparent and darker.
check my new pack on sunday, when i release the first version for download! (and textures for editing and personal use, although i'd like those with mixes posted for download to give credit if they use anything)http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=266869

Also, go through the pages of this thread as there are many excellent contributions from doku RPG fans.
